Is it cool to let him arch his back like that?

I wish we could see him doing some kind of leg work!!!

It's not ideal, but he's maxing himself out and it's not an unhealthy amount. It's fine.

I know it doesn’t seem like you use your knee to bench press, but you typically do to drive for power.

So I’m pretty sure his knee is fine...

I know powerlifters use the arch as well. So it’s not an unnatural movement for the bench press.

OK. I just remember the little I was around it in HS and college the people I knew were of the opinion you should stay flat. But my best friend did his benches the same way.

Eh whatever. This is usually 4-6 weeks right? The FO probably knew this was coming but his knee was okay enough to keep working a little longer. Now he’ll have this recovery time and should be ready for camp. Not really worrying about this one.

Before you all already overreact, it's not the end of the world. Arthroscopic just means they're removing some debris that was causing discomfort. It's a few weeks off his feet, but he can still likely lift and might even be able to take some set shots against his doctor's advice.

Edit- and yes I realize all these knee troubles are no good. Interesting that it came directly from the team though. No weird leak this time.

Yep. I think Rondo has a good chance at beating him out...

Want to guess why we valued Rondo and possibly overpaid him @ 9M?

With the recent Bulls offer sheet for Parker (if >15m), the Bucks would need to pull off a trade or stretch a player (possibly Bledsoe) to match that type of offer sheet.

If Bledsoe does get waived, the Lakers could be interested.

I would also consider trading Deng/1sts/2nds/picks swaps to ATL for Lin and Dedmon....I believe they still can aggregate Lin with Dedmon since ATL acquired Lin using cap space and not a trade exception.

I would try to add more guard help so that Zo isn't in situation to be forced to rush back. Rondo at the point by himself is not ideal although I'm positive he can handle heavy minutes (last time he was the lead guard in Sac, 2 years ago, he avg. 35 mins per.)

I would think Bucks let Jabari go before Bledsoe.

Bledsoe is an expiring deal and could ask to be bought out or stretched.

The Bucks can allow Jabari to walk, but they would lose on both them dudes by next summer if Bledsoe ends up walking away as well.

True but Bledsoe is a lot more important to that team than Jabari. They've done decently when he was injured and they play Giannis a lot at the 4 anyways.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing, I'm just looking at the Klutch angle in all of this and there is no doubt that if the Bucks choose to match, then they're going to have to make some roster decisions cause they can't outright match an offer sheet that starts at more than 15m in year 1, since they're hard-capped at the apron.

I would look at Napier too if I were Rob/Magic.

Anyways, here is Magic talking Rondo/Zo:

While Zo recovers, keep working on that upper body strength cause Rondo ain't taking it easy on you during practice.

Due to his youth, I'm not concerned on Zo getting a scope done (prognosis is much better with younger patients compared to older patients). I'm more concerned with the durability/duress aspect on his knees. Due to proximity, if you have an impaired MCL, what other cruciate..uh crucial ligament can get impacted?

I'm down for Dewayne Dedmon. Didn't realize what a very decent stretch 5 he has become. Always liked Lin too. He'd be a good 3rd posing guard for us.
