I think FG and 3PT should improve dramatically if Lebron and PG come. He'll have less pressure to be the initiator on offense, be able to work off ball more effectively, which he showed with BI running point, and he'll have much better spacing because guys won't be leaving LBJ or PG open.

As Magic said, he should be more aggressive to the rim, and that spacing is going to help him open up the lane.

But those numbers are what he should shoot for. I think 70% FT should be where he should be.

More of everything except turnovers basically.

He's saying this because he literally just released that video about LeBron and Lonzo working together well, but there's some truth to it. Anyone who didn't watch Lonzo doesn't understand what he brings. I'm not sure it's fair to say he was miscast, but I do agree that he's not the typical "ideal point guard" for this era: ball dominant with an emphasis on pick and rolls. He's not that guy and we said that before the season started.

As a fulcrum to move the machine though, he's utterly perfect. He's a tremendous fit with LeBron and might actually be the smartest basketball mind LeBron has ever played with (maybe Wade). Both are good fits with George as well and to be honest, I could see all three of them also meshing well with Kuzma and Randle too. I think a Ball/George/LeBron/Kuzma/Randle lineup would be devastating within a year.

yeah, if lonzo remembered how to shoot, he's be sort of the ideal pg to play with lebron. like, if you went into a lab and constructed lebron's pg, it would be a tall, rangy defender with preternatural court sense, the ability to hit threes and push pace.

pick and roll stuff is pretty superfluous and would become even moreso were PG to come.

Go f***ing get Rondo this summer...please!!!!!

Btw, interesting wrinkle, he's obviously not part of Kawhi trade discussions for sure now. Maybe this is LA's way of shielding him from any talks outside of just Kawhi trade scenarios.

Wow, I wonder if he just hurt it or if this is from the left knee issues he dealt with at the end of the year

Lonzo needs a special NBA exception to be on steroids or something. Anything to make him more durable.

Well according to NBA 2K you can't be traded when injured.

I see what we did here...

How did that sh*t happen? That guy is like glass ... I hope we get rid of him at a solid price if we manage to get Kawhi, LeBron, PG. All this stupid drama and that guy besides doing lame rap tracks has nothing but bad news about him...

Must be Lavar trying to prevent Lonzo from being traded

Ben Simmons misses an entire year and is healthy for the most part last year. Embiid misses 2+ years and was relatively healthy this last year. Point being lets not all freak out yet.

If the next 2 years are like this, then yes, there is definitely cause for concern. I also wonder if all the weight he's been adding in the upper body had something to do with this. I trust our trainers that it wasn't all upper body he was working on but this is something to think about at least.

Glad he'll be back for training camp but it sucks that all that time is missed improving on his floaters, mid range game and shot.

Lonzo Ball suffered a left knee contusion during the season, got a PRP injection earlier this month...and now it's finally diagnosed as a torn meniscus? Odd. I'm wondering when this tear actually occurred. Hope Lonzo recovers well.

TIming is too suspicious. I say the Lakers play it cool and then send this guy off the first chance they get next season. I feel like this DLO all over again.

Very weird out of nowhere injury announcement. Very weird, absolutely odd timing.

There's definitely games being played here. The timing is just too convenient.

He is better than Russell. Probably will be a better pro...

But, he is still made of glass...
