Agreed, I don't see SA trading in conference and especially to us. I think he's going East if he gets traded. Zero chance NO trades Davis.

I would think. Those people have to be tired of the Ball carnival by now. Wouldn't surprise though if he does something related.

Something related better be shooting 100,000 jumpers over a 2-week period....

For all the hype he had a pretty mediocre rookie season... Need to show up next season or get traded for a star

10, 7 and 7 is mediocre? His shooting needs to improve, but his rebounds, assists and steals were above what any of us envisioned (IMO).

No it's not. What planet is that mediocre? It's not this one.

As the graphic points out, he'd also have been Top 10 in steals as well among the best guards in Drtg. There is no context in which those numbers are underwhelming.

52 games, not in the 1st team all rookie for sure, I mean I'm a fan but I can't defend to other fans that he deserved to be the no. 2 pick...

Then you're not paying attention to what the kid did. Can you defend Ingram as the #2 pick? He missed plenty of time. Randle missed the whole year at #7. Embiid missed the whole season. Griffin missed his whole rookie season.

Injuries are difficult to quantify and availability is important, but the evidence is clear on tape and in the numbers that Lonzo is a terrific player.

So to you that was an exceptional rookie season? That was what you were expecting... 10 7 7 does not set the Basketball World on fire hence I deem it as a mediocre rookie season.

    Anyway

    Is that a serious answer?

Tell me the other rookies that averaged 10/7/7/1.7 as rookies. Tell me which of them were too young to buy a legal alcoholic drink.

It's fine, I'll do it for you: Ben Simmons and Magic Johnson. That's it. That doesn't light the basketball world on fire?

    What are you talking about?

That was pretty funny lol. Mediocre as a rookie isn't bad in my book with circumstances included. He's got a lot of room to still grow. It's pretty easy to see with everything he does at his age simply gives me no reason to worry... Especially when he plays with another all star or two and overall surrounding cast improves.
