His floor game is gorgeous. Just so Kidd-esque as @lakerjones pointed out in Game Time. He's going to be so good.
He shot 40% from three in college. I knew he would turn it around. I just wanted him to chill out on for a while because he was jacking them up almost to prove he could instead of taking them in rhythm for a good percentage. He was forcing the issue. It's looking good now as it should.
It's something so instinctual with Lonzo. You can't even teach that I believe. It's sublime passing on a level I haven't seen since Kidd.
Compared to Westbrick lol PG13 would will be a fool not to choose this situation but fools abound in this World so we will just laugh at his folly seasons from now just as we laugh at Duh-wight now
So glad to have him back. Minutes restriction, off the bench, whatever, we are better with him. Buried all his threes tonight, played his usual solid to really good defense, made his typical sweet passes, I do not want to see this kid go anywhere. I’d put up with all of Lavar’s nonsense for 20 years to keep Zo around.
You know, him taking all of threes in the beginning of the year and missing kinda reminded me of Kobe airballing those threes in Utah during the playoffs. It never was about not making them, it was about having the balls to take them until you finally execute to the point of hitting them. Unlike some guys who like to defer or not even attempt them...
He shot like this in high school, UCLA, and Summer League. It was always only a matter of time until he settled down and started knocking them down. But, as fans, it’s always easier to go the sky is falling route.
Not just his pace and energy he brings to offense, but boy have I missed his basketball instincts on defense.
Must have been during that 3 months with the sandpaper surfaced ball Luke was shooting 70%(?) on 3s with.
Eh, couples don’t have to stay together because they’re having a kid. As long as he takes care of his end legally/financially, and hopefully as a father, that’s what matters.
