On the season maybe, but it's insanely difficult to drag up percentages after they've been established so low.

Looking at his splits, his TS% is up over 50% in December and he's shooting respectably from outside now.

Not too many Coaches that wouldn't be thrilled to have a Rookie with a
10/7/7/1/1 stat line. His shooting percentage will & is coming up plus he seems to be
reducing the amount of TO's due to forced passes lately too...
Feeling very optimistic about Zo's progress.

I loved watching Kobe "move" on the court. There was precision, economy of motion and the grace (coupled of course to ferocity) with the way he played the game.

I get a lot of that now watching Lonzo. And Kuzma. (Not the ferocity part) Yet.

He was labeled as a very good shooter? All knew from his college stats is he has a chance to be a solid one but i wasnt EXPECTING it early on in his career.

So to me.. Im seeing the chart slowly but steadily rising, confidence in the scoring department in general too.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Just wanted to chime in on Lonzo:

    - I've also been pleased with his defensive chops. Knows how to ride the hip, keep moving feet, and make plays.
    - The shot mechanics, and his shooting struggles. It's tough. This could be a big problem. Does he need to reconstruct the shot? I think he might. It seems like a bad habit that needs to be broken. Almost like a security blanket issue.
    - The shot worries me because he simply will have to score more.
    - On the plus side, I think with a good summer in the gym he can add 5 or so buckets a game from the paint. Seems to me he just needs to calm down, learn change of pace, work on his handle, footwork.
    - Was just ruminating in my mind about Steve Nash, and was thinking if Nash could do it, certainly Ball can do it. Right? (I'm talking about scoring in the paint :))
    - I think he's putting a brave face on this season, but that it's a bit overwhelming. Perhaps that will start to lift.
    - Keep shooting, Lonzo!! Just, you have to also believe it's going to go in.

Zo balled out tonight. You can just see his confidence soaring. All those idiots labeling him a bust after 20 games don’t know s*** about basketball.

It was only a matter of time before Zo got going. He’s gonna be special.

24, 5, and 5. Made five triples. Once again makes an impact defensively.

He’s getting there. Just needs to maintain this level of play.

He's shooting 38.8% from the three point line over his last 10 games.

Still 43.5% overall and and 54.5% from the free throw line though.

Lonzo is looking confident out there. He's played 3 times against the Warriors and he looks very comfortable. Good to see

Yeah... 3pt shooting is both encouraging and worrying.

9-16 overall and 5-6 on threes. I will take that all day any day. Heck of a game from the kid tonight.

    UCLA Lonzo.

All the talk about his shot, but really it’s about confidence and getting his feet set.

He’s got both going right now.

he's adjusting, and it's great to see he has balls to be aggressive in crunch time too

Great game by Zo. I love seeing him playing with more confidence. Confidence helps a smart player like him. A dumb player like KCP...not so much.

I would give all KCP minutes to Hart if I wasn't d***less, ballless oragnization like we have right now. Sucking up to Rich Paul and Bron.

    f***...
