At this point, I'm not upset at all if we send Ball out with Ingram or Kuzma in a trade for Kawhi.

I'm literally sick to my stomach listening to Lavar and if HE f***s this up for us in terms of free agency...I'll burn him alive.

US torched too? Seems to me the more LaVar does all this the more negative sentiment out there you see with the comments on line. Not many (?) people, again, it seems are still embracing his schtick and carnival barkering. For wanting to sell lots of shoes and merchandise at silly high pricing.

Not to mention now a huge red flag for the family in any FO in the league. If Magic and Rob were not enamored with DLO's personality and focus for the organization I can't imagine them putting up with huge amount of unnecessary and negative distractions indefinitely.

Hadn't read much of it yet but Yahoo Sports found these cringe worthy comments from the comedic genius in his own mind ....

The article doesn't paint Lavar in a good light, but it also provides possible context for his behavior (spoiler alert: it's what we all thought it was in the first place).

But it does provide tremendous context for the Ball family and especially Tina who is as sympathetic a person as you could imagine in that piece.

It's a shame that the person in that entire family that actually has some real wisdom is the one that is trying to get her thoughts, voice back.

Chris Haynes the one who just broke the Kawhi story on ESPN 710 just said Lonzo is being shopped.

    Quote:

“Any deal you're looking to make to try to bring in a big piece, Lonzo Ball is going to be in that. Lonzo Ball is going to be in that for sure. Obviously the Lakers are trying to rid themselves of Luol Deng's contract. Ingram could be in play, I've heard his name mentioned by some."

"But the one constant that I've been hearing is Lonzo Ball. Anyway, if LeBron were to come, there wouldn't be much of a need for Lonzo Ball. It's still early in the process still, but as the day goes on, we could start hearing more clearly what those pieces would look like."

I'd be okay with it as long as we end up with LeBron, Kawhi, and George.

I don't agree that it's some obvious thing to move Lonzo. I think of all our pieces, he makes by far the most sense to keep given his specific skill set, but I want those three pieces and I know there's going to be a ton of movement to make that happen.

I’m of the view that Zo is a goner just like you knew DLO was going to be gone. An experienced vet at point guard on a mid level is good enough if you have Bron, PG and Kawhi. Plus Zo’s development could be hindered by his health, off court focus, and of course Lavar always nipping at the heels of his employer. It’s just easier to unload him now.

So there you go you sick pud LaVar .... if this happens. Hope you're happy.

The guy got the Big Head and began thinking he had all this power because his three sons won a championship together at Chino Hills with Lonzo clearly talented and ready for college. Then he leverages scholarships for Gelo and Melo at UCLA and all the luck involved with the draft for the Lakers to be able to get #2 and LaVar's dream comes true with the first son actually becoming a Laker. The Youtube TV show and all the publicity which he just can't get enough of.

Then one horrible decision after another and thinking he is going to control Magic freaking Johnson and the Lakers organization rather than the good sense to STFU especially when Magic and Rob directly asked him a couple of times to dial down the disruptive, negative and self serving s*** he was doing before he even got to Lithuania and started the subversive s***..

Too damn bad because Zo is going to be a hell of a player and that's apparently no longer worth it to Magic and Rob and the Lakers for all of his a-hole dad's crap. F*** off LaVar.

I can't stop. This is unbelievable for someone to be so stupid. Rips youngest kid from last 2 years of HS and then rips scholarship and year or two of college from the middle son plus no scholarship or college for the youngest son. And now costs his oldest son the family dream of playing for the resurgent home town Los Angeles Lakers.
