    The guy apologizes at the end for the long video to get everything in he wanted to say but he forgot to apologize for the annoying f****** editing style. Does he do that with everything he puts on Youtube?

    I need to digest this a bit, but I think I love this idea.

    For those who don't want to click:

    • The league will consist of 80 kids and 10 teams.
    • It will pay a minimum of 3K a month and a maximum of 10K a month.
    • His kids will not be on a roster.
    • The league is made by and sponsored by BBB so they'll all wear BBB merchandise.

    In other words, he doesn't want his kids stuck in Lithuania, or to have to visit them. He created this monster, so now he has to see it through.

    Of course, if all of the kids snap their ankles playing in inferior gear, what's the point? Who is going to sponsor him? Interesting...

    That is pretty funny because the shoes are crap. Cost of molds schmolds. Build good shoes that are safe to play in and like any other product you get good word of mouth. Though I wouldn't put it past the lawyers to build in non disclosure agreements these kids have to sign if they want to be in the league and want the money and free gear.

    "I'm not going to let nobody sit back and tell my son whether he's going to a play or not going to play. Be a man enough to say, 'We're not going to let you play.' Same thing over here with the other coach [for LaMelo]. How are you going to mess up Melo's style of play? The coach over there in high school, he already lost 20-something games before he came over there. So basically, he's not a winner. So you're not going to try to make my son try to fit in with everybody. And we're the ones who built the school. So I'm, like, this, 'If you're not going to do it our way, we'll go our way and you do it your way.'"

    Still don't like him and "his way" and yanking the kids out of school .... but can't hate on everything in the interview. Nice too that his wife is over there and enjoying it.


    I would also worry about a power play with Lonzo to sign both his other kids with (BBB) saying he won't resign when free agency comes up (assuming he's playing great and a big star and we definitely want him back by then)... unless they're taken too. Like he did with UCLA.
