....no props to big mouth LaVar after cracking on Nash when he'd agreed to work some with Lonzo ..... for this. Good for the handyman though. Hard to know what to think about LaVar and skepticism creeps in. Maybe a little salty there but the vertical video shot there when it would have been nice to see the freaking truck put me in a bad mood as well.

With LaVar you have to discount the talk period. Always good to judge a person by their actions. LaVar disses Nash and then right after his kid is getting pointers from Nash. What's that tell you? Meaningless words. Buys his handyman of 15 years a new truck. Sounds like a good guy. He's trying to be a celebrity by creating a little drama so take what he says with a grain of salt. The fact that people are still evaluating his statements is baffling to me.

He really needs to STFU with this stuff. Easy for him to sit on the sidelines and have his schtick and attempts to be a comedian all the time but he really is putting an unnecessary target on Lonzo when being a highly publicized rookie is already going to get him extra effort against him and our team. I think he's over the top with this stuff and it's not funny all the time. Sorry. Supposedly he's a great dad and all... I get it. The stuff that comes flying out is cringeworthy sometimes.

 

He doesn't bother me. LaVar's purpose is to get a reaction. Bigger the better. He turns that into money and he got that family rich and driving Lambos before anyone had a deal to play pro ball. Maybe he's a little smarter than some are giving him credit for. I don't think Lonzo will get more attention than he already will as a high-profile rook and if he does, good. Smart player with nearly unmatched passing skills. Go ahead, single him out and play with emotion, see what that does. If he's drawing that much attention to take people out of their games then he's already worth it.

 

lavar annoys me, but patrick beverley was going to go hard after lonzo regardless. beverley goes hard (and dirty) after everyone. it's how his untalented a** has stayed in the league. of course he's going to have it in for a rookie who's going to double his lifetime earnings by halfway into his rookie contract.

 

And Curry too but for a leader type like Lonzo to give the appearance of not caring or being OK with his father's MO of continuously taking shots at established current stars or all time greats like Nash is not a good look for Lonzo, and for many fans like myself cringe worthy watching it continue to happen. Think stars in the league now or past with sons soon coming into the league or even fathers here blessed with same situation ..... doing the same s***. It's OK and acceptable just because money's being made by the kid and the big mouthed old man?
