Agree...we should be better given we seem to have more mature players character wise. It should at least elevate a sense of professionalism and seriousness among them.

...overall mental approach should improve. How it translates to more wins than last season remains to be seen.

    @LaVarBallsDad

Wow who knew .... you're kind of a likable guy compared to your son with the big mouth.

My son has a big mouth; grandson is overhyped.

I only play along because they take me to good restaurants and have given me a brand new pair of Z02's

You know LaVar seriously should just dial back a little bit now, relax and buckle up and enjoy the ride. He's won here already. Collectors will be buying up the expensive special edition stuff in huge quantities now that Lonzo is on the Los Angeles Lakers at a point in time where he literally can become a star overnight in the NBA and play a Large part in turning the franchise around. He plays well like that and that family becomes worth multi millions overnight. So LaVar doesn't need to keep it all up. He could become more likable but clearly he enjoys this role. Just wish he would. Not try to "entertain" so much.

Magic will keep LaVar decently in check.

LaVar is a Lakers fan too, hes allowed to sound bias towards us IMO. Especially with his son on the team.

Lavar Ball negotiating to be part of WWE Raw.

Since LaVar Ball has spent the last four months cutting WWE-style promos, it's only fitting he might end up on the promotion's flagship television program.

Per Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin, Ball and WWE are in negotiations for him to appear on the June 26 episode of Raw from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

While it's unclear if Ball will do so, Satin noted he could be heard talking about WWE on the family's livestream from the NBA draft Thursday.

Ball's son, Lonzo Ball, was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. Lavar is from the L.A. area, and Lonzo went to high school in Chino Hills.

The outspoken elder Ball essentially became a pro wrestling heel as his son went through the draft process. He proclaimed he could defeat Michael Jordan in a game of one-on-one and that Lonzo is already a better basketball player than two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry.

Ball is always playing for a crowd. A spot in WWE would give him the platform to say what he wants, and the move would draw additional media attention to the company as it heads into the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view on July 9.

He's an older gentleman. Seems risky.

I don't know. Lots of WWE wrestlers are older than him, and being in shape physically doesn't protect your brain from trauma.

I'd bet it would just be a one time thing where he gets slammed to the mat or something too. Not a long term wrestling contract

I mean he's a big guy in decent shape, but he's not in the same shape as those other athletes.

I'm not a big wrestling guy though so I don't really know. If I were his primary physician I'd recommend not doing it that's all. :D

Fat? The middle kid isn't fat. Very few TEs are, which is what I think he should play. Very muscular for a 6'6 high school senior.

Savvy move by Lavar. He is an attention getter. What better place to stoke the coals of those that like him and hate him than in WWE theatre. He is about to work on his on brand and recoup those monies he missed out on coming out of Cal State L.A. back in the day.

It's your time Lavar, make it happen!
