He'll survive with his business dreams and schemes. It's the rest of his other two sons' lives that will be a struggle for normalcy with the huge targets put on them by his actions and yanking from both's higher education.

I don't see anything he said being very inflammatory at all. He's bragging on himself, not really attacking Luke.

    He's also wrong.

He also shouldn't be given attention and I regret clicking on the article.

No, I just mean the timing. He opportunistically pumps his schtick out to millions at this specific time to not help Luke and the team for sure. Probably a little payback for the pushback on him he got the first time he did it last year.

I don't know that he knew Woj was going to put out an article like that. I think the timing is more coincidental than anything.

..... did anyone else catch that quote on LaVar’s advice on how he would coach this team?

He said he would have LeBron and Lonzo play the entire game and only rotate the 3 other players around him.

So essentially, He wants to go the route with LeBron that killed kobe’s career (play him 48 min a game until his Achilles blows) and do the same thing for his low tolerance for playing through pain son....

Maybe I'm confused but my understanding is that once he signed with an agent he was done as a amateur athlete. Good for him to go back to school but I thought he would be ineligible.

"Basketball is the furthest thing from his mind [in this decision], because he can develop somewhere else. It's all the components that Spire provides."

But the bulk of the article is exactly about basketball and looks like the school was handpicked for having a couple high ranking players? And I would have thought like Big Mamma Jamma that his eligibility had been blown already from a number of things.

But happy that he gets to graduate from and experience a senior year in HS.

They changed it for NCAA, so I would assume it was changed for HS as well.

Now if LaVar can find a way to get Gelo back into some college program where he can still ball , for whatever that is worth in his life going forward, and get some more education. But what is his eligibility, and what will it cost since the scholarship boat has probably sailed.

Maybe that is why the article emphasized that LaMelo didn't take money. I guess if he had THEN he would be considered ineligible.
