I agree, it just takes a bit more time with Julius. Once they're both up to speed, I feel Julius is the better player.

Why, yes, it WAS an exaggeration on my part. Am I allowed those too?

See, this notion of Nance being a SUPERIOR all-around player is a bit of an exaggeration as well, don't you think? A bit more EFFICIENT, would be a more correct term.
Considering how Nance is 2 years older...

I'll leave it to @trodgers to iron out the stats of the last season, unless of course all of the SUPERIOR stuff comes from:

    1. un-measurable eyeball tests, that fail to take context into consideration, just as much as stats do
    2. 1 pre-season game

Agreed, and as well certainly Luke and staff see all the same issues and seeming confusion still from Julius in areas where Nance is not confused. It will be a great and worthwhile measure of their talent to see how quickly and to what extent they can help him improve in those areas.

Those are amazing numbers for Nance. Such a good player. Hopefully, he will be able to stay healthy for most of the season. He'll miss some games for sure, the only question is - how many?

    5 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 0 TO's, 1 block, 1 steal, 1 PF in 23 minutes.

Nance quietly filled up the stat sheet in limited minutes while providing solid D and effort on both ends. He wasn't as spectacular as Randle, JC, and Russ, but he's still one of the more reliable glue guys on this team. Even the Rocket fans had nice things to say about him in their forum.

That's still mind bottling to read with Nick's story playing out.

Nance nearly did a poster job on the Houston center last night. Non descript yet positive game from him. Nance had that one straight away shot that looked good but was an inch long. He and Black will be a good combination as they are both active and mobile enough to contend with second units of the same size.

The best move Mitch made was to draft Nance (and not Brown) in the 1st round. We have him locked up for 7 more years, until he's 30.

Props to the scouting department for Nance, had everyone scratching their head about that draft.

Be more aggressive Larry! When this dude is aggressive we are a much better team. When Larry opens up the floor for us, it transforms our offense. Suddenly the defense has to keep an eye on him and that opens up a ton more for the rest of the team.

He's been operating as a trigger man only and the defense slacks off him because he doesn't make them pay. He predictably passes most time. A little aggression from Larry - even if he misses - will open up the entire floor. I kind of look at him as our athletic version of Boris Diaw. Remember how crucial Diaw was to the Spurs offense?

He was all over the court tonight. Had 6 steals and some big dunks. I love when this guy checks into the game. Tons of energy and hustle.
