i said all year last year that i really wanted randle to play more like nance. he's more talented, but nance is a better basketball player right now, imo.

What a 2nd half from Nance, his energy sparked the comeback. Love this guy, he does not quit.

That Larry dunk was what sparked the turnaround. I was seconds away from turning it off and going to bed, but that kept me watching.

It's because of players like Nance and Russ that I can't turn off these games before they're over. You never know when Nance is gonna throw a crazy dunk down, or Russ is gonna catch fire and bring us back or hit a game winner.

He did a fantastic job guarding Simmons.

His dunks, rebounding and hustle plays were just as important as D Russ. Those 2 were amazing in the 2nd half.

Nance and Randle competition will only make both of them and the team better.. They are both good guys with tremendous upside, very good for us..

At this point, Nance is just a more effective player than Randle. And to be frank, I'm not sure Randle will be more effective than him long term either.

When Nance begins to gain confidence and efficiency on that J...he'll be a terror. Ball handling is correctable. Once Nance develops a connection with Russell, it will be lots of "oops, upside your head" lobs...

No need to be so down on a kid coming off a double double season as a rookie. With how the kid has been working I highly doubt Julius hasn't improved. It's a good problem to have that we have two really good power forwards who offer completely different things. Nance Jr. is a jack of all trades player. Randle is an absolute monster on the glass, can make and take big shots, another playmaker, and can give us a presence down low.

No one is down on Randle [at least not me]...the two will provide a different set of matchup problems. I see them running the floor together.

I disagree. I see some people making these assumptions that Julius hasn't gotten better even though he's been seen working out and working on his game. People seem to think he won't ever be a good NBA player and he already is and he's not even a tenth of the player he's gonna be.

Randle did not get invited to the Team USA camp without a reason. His game is closer to the paint than Nance who plays a wide-open game.

Nance certainly has more lift with his statue of liberty jams, and is more reliable with his jumper. He also seems to fit into a team game better.

That being said, we owe Randle a Boron and injury free season. If Randle develops he could be a player we love to have in Purple and Gold
