Im so happy we drafted LNJ :) Dude is a perfect role player. He doesn't take any plays off, he hustles, love him. Even though we have Julius, i think i would trade Clarkson before i would trade Larry ;).

Great clip with his dunks above. Nose for the ball the way he's always following missed shots at the rim. Huertas and Kobe and Russell had some sick feeds to him. Runs the floor and what a nice athlete. :MitchWand:

He's gotta get that knee healthy and work on his shot. Good find by the scouting department.

Nance makes Randle moveable for the right piece. I think if you have an athletic 5 and some great player on the wings, he could start on a championship team as a solid role player.

Randle has way more upside, but last season, Nance was probably the better overall player. Maybe not as impactful, but he did so many things well.

Love the way Nance dunks, it's so effortless. And when he goes up with one hand and gets challenged, he's always a good hand length above anyone else. I don't know if he has a long reach or he floats, or both, but it's a thing of beauty.

My only concern or caution with this is Nance's knees. If we did move Randle, we'd have to have 2 reliable PF's other than Nance, because I just don't trust those knees yet. I think if we drafted Simmons, that makes Randle very tradeable though.

it is ironic that production only matters when it comes to randle's rebounding (as opposed to Clarkson's scoring). then again, my only untouchable youngster is the one who produced the least, so what do I know?

I do love nance, though. mostly because I don't have the hopes of the franchise pinned to his success. all he has to do is be a solid 9th man, and he's exceeded expectations.

No he absolutely does not. Especially with those knee issues. I like Nance, but he's not a starter yet on a good team or bad team. Not a good enough rebounder or shot maker. He's the perfect backup big, but he definitely doesn't make a kid with sky high potential expendable.

I agree with this point, its a lot easier to be impressed when expectations aren't as huge, Nance has been great in his role.

I'm not saying we dump Randle for peanuts. I'm saying that if a good trade pops up that lands us a big piece, but doesn't send us back a pf, we have Nance who can fill in there. I'm not suggesting that Nance will be a better player.

Similar to last summer when Black and Randle and DAR and JC were hitting it hard together with all that optimism for the coming 2015-16 season. Then Boron the a-hole happened in first couple of weeks and it all went to s***.

Yep. It's a positive. They are hungry, and I think eager to get things on the right track being competitive and winning basketball games.

That said, I love Nance's game. I think he is going to flourish in Luke's system. He's a guy that can set good screens, roll to the hoop and finish around the basket, and I think by next year should be able to 'pop' out for that 17' to 20' foot jumper. He also can fill the lane in transitions, always in the right position defensively, and has a good motor.

    He's a keeper.
