That could be an option too. 7th man off the bench if we get a good starting SF next year.

Remember on draft night when we were utterly confused about who he was and why we drafted him? Awesome. I remember there were a few of the "experts" who said he provided interesting potential and really impressed a few teams in workouts. I remember the majority of us wanted Anthony Brown over him. Boy were we wrong.

    I totally dig this kid.

Russell, Clarkson, Randle, and Nance Jr. What a nice start.

Throw in Tarik Black for a hell of a rookie/sophomore Small Ball lineup.

I would but it's been so long since we've seen him in the NBA, I don't know what he looks like anymore... :(

That would probably be a fun lineup to watch.

Throw in big man Upshaw down in D League, and the whole bus is bumpin'.....

...throw in Mr Quota and Anthony Brown as cheap backups. :)

Seriously.... my new found this season Hate for the way Scott has handled the talent on this squad aside .... Larry Nance's chance given to him to be able to show what he's got and grow his confidence and adjustment to the NBA game .... is the ONE single thing Scott has done well. Even then the whole Randle side of that equation could have been handled SO much better. Not even a real reason to demote Randle to the 2nd team to accomplish it.

Anyone got anything else this coach has done that's been a seriously "good" thing for the franchise this year or for the future?

was loosely based on this one I found of Frenchie. More work than I expected. My wheels don't turn so fast, and at one point randomly stop lol.

Nance would have done all the same stuff as the second stringer. He has made the Bass signing pointless. We should trade Bass and Lou to get a piece that fits better, like a true backup center. I do think Nance could be a nice big small forward if he could get that 3 point shot down. Maybe a Shane Battier type. About the same size. Counts for .5 of Sirron's quota as well. If we were to get Ben Simmons somehow, we could have our forward rotation locked in for the next decade since all three could conceivably rotate between both spots. At this point though, I'd rather we get the #2 or 3 pick. Trade that with Lou and Bass for a solid veteran that fits our team better and sign Horford or (gulp) D12. Then all of a sudden we have a solid team now to attract Durant with young guys that will come into their own as he starts the dowside of his career.

I don't want Dwight, but the rest I agree with Savory.

I don't "want" him, but if he's available, he's still a top 5 center and a great piece to attract Durant with. Durant and Dwight on this team right now instead of Hibbert and Kobe probably has us in the playoffs. Dwight and Durant with Clarkson, Randle, and Russell with another year of xp as well as another veteran that fits a role? We are nipping at the heels of the top teams...granted we have a competent coach. Scott would likely have Golden State struggling to make the playoffs.

Thank you, real. I'd rather suck for another decade than ever have to root for Dwight Howard again. I question what B0ron has done to your poor sanity sometimes, Savory, first suggesting you'd like 'Antoni back on our bench and now this. If Durant wants Howard then I don't want Durant lol. I'd rather keep Hibbert than go after Howard. I don't care if he can't score, he plays very good D, is a great teammate, and can make a damn free throw. Maybe he'd get to the line more too if we had a better coach that knew how to use him.

Howard is a fool...and will stay one. He'd whine about not being featured which will screw up team chemistry. Horford is a better option. Selfless, hardworking and will do the work. No delusions of grandeur.

Did I just see someone mention Dwight? Really I mean really? After what we've seen this season I'd rather re-sign Hibbert and I really, really don't wanna do that either. Dwight's athleticism is fading and he still has no offensive game to speak of. He's not an explosive athlete anymore which is really what made him special. He doesn't even protect the paint that well anymore. Hibbert is probably a better rim protector at this stage. He whines about touches and can't do anything with them. He f***ing sucks now.

I was one of those who really wanted Dwight to stay. glad to admit the lakers dodged a bullet there. he's good, but he's not attracting FAs because the word is out regarding his b****ery. add in a degenerative back and knee condition and zero improvement in his post game or general offensive hoop iq...I'm out. give me kosta koufos at 1/3 the price.

Got this trade idea from a moderator on LG: 3 way trade

    Phoenix: Lou
    Sacramento: Markeiff Morris
    Lakers: Koufos

I'd do it. not sure even sac is dumb enough to add another knucklehead, though. and if phx were in the playoff race, I'd see their angle, but they're not.

hibbert for Tyson chandler: who says no?

anyway, back to nance: dat boy good.
