key will be moving off the ball and team d. luke's system wants both, lance hasn't excelled in either in the past. even if he doesn't do that stuff, he might find a small role, but if he wants to be part of things, he's going to have to start caring when the ball's not right next to him or in his hands.
The only thing I'm just not sure about Lance is that he'll have his Ron Artest, "I'll do something on my own", moments. He's certainly super talented, and has a lot of weapons offensively, but he'll do things outside of the offense which will make you scratch your head sometimes and do things that will surprise you that he can do it. He should be used in spurts in such a way to create energy off the bench, and not long spells.
He's an entertaining wild card, but he'll put it all out there every night. Hard guy not to root for.
I hope and don't see him playing too many minutes. He is a solid playmaker for a forward and that's about it. There isn't much more to his game. He tries hard on D but lacks the length and quickness to be good. His shot is below average which makes him hard to play.
Born Ready is his nickname for those that don't know. He got it when he was playing as a young kid in New York and Rucker Park.
