    Excerpt below ..... isn't this in clear violation of NBA rules and should bring some real scrutiny to how Ballmer landed Leonard? Same type of demands that he and his uncle tried to sell Jeanie on.

    Wilkes went on to state that he help orchestrate a deal with the West and Robertson that included a Southern California home and travel expense account.

    I doubt that this lawsuit mentioned in the article will prosper, if I understand correctly--Johnny Wilkes had an agreement to work with Jerry West to help land Kawhi because of the former's close ties with the player worth $2.5 million. Also mentioned in there is the term contract, which I don't think a written one exists because, first, the terms may potentially be violations in the NBA, and second, this may be a verbal contract, in both these cases, the said contract is void.

    While I don't really mind the outcome of that lawsuit but I do hope the NBA looks into this matter so we can enjoy the entertainment this would possibly bring us.

    i haven't seen the quote in context, but isn't it possible that he's saying he's used to the press bagging on a guy who's contributing by selectively abstracting his poor FG%?

    anyway, back to regularly scheduled clip-bashing: how ya'll feeling about zubac at 4/28 when we have m. gasol at 2/6? good? didn't think so.
