    Actually if you go to the twitter feed via a google search for the first story...there is a shot of it. Maybe its a 'hack' trying to get someone to bite=== told you Im just a dumb fan.

    The shot is from when DMC was going to NYC for the All-Star game. Bet the author of the story (where I found it) did that to draw hits.

    I don't think Cousins is going anywhere at this point. WCS is a very nice fit next to him as another big. WCS can probably contribute right away for what he will be asked to do. There is talk they might go after Rondo as well.

    That team could actually scare some people if everyone keep their heads on straight. But with Cousins and Rondo, that's like asking a lion to be vegan. So they'll win 25 games again. :D

    Well yeah for me it would be. :D

    I'd prefer getting Russell/a max guy this summer over getting Russell/Cousins/3rd tier guy.

    We can always come back and revisit a Cousins trade later during the year. Right now I'm focused on getting the best Big Man we can in FA.

    I'm targeting DeAndre! If we trade for Boogie somehow without giving up Randle or now Russell, then we don't have room for DeAndre or any other top level FA and we would have to give up a talented kid to get to him...

    Instead, I'd rather we just go after all the bigs out there right now with the cash we have available. Roughly in order:
    Gasol (unlikely), Aldridge, Jordan, Chandler, Lopez, Asik, Monroe, and Koufos

    Those guys are all out there for the taking. We just HAVE to be one of the guys that gets them.

    Were you the one saying they ought to fire him and I said there's no way they'd do it? If so I apologize. I was wrong.

    Still "Sources" is the only one saying they'd consider this move. Most are saying the owner is VERY upset with Karl, but that firing hasn't been brought up just yet.

    My preference order would be:

    Gasol: by far my 1st, but sadly won't happen
    LMA: hoping the rumors pan out. His game works well with our new team
    Jordan: I'm picturing Voodoo lobbing to DJ and him giving us a true rim guy, but I'm dreading hack-a-Shaq part 2
    Asik: great defender to play with Randle
    Lopez: servicable
    Monroe: we could do worse than play 2 PFs and force teams to adjust to us

    Don't really want Chandler because of age and injury issues.

    LMA is still my number 1 and DJ is my solid number 2. If I'm paying a max deal to my big, it's because he's getting me buckets and winning games in the 4th. DJ will either be on the bench or wishing he was on the bench when Staples is ready to kill him for missing free throws in close games.
