What's with the condescending tone?. Kareem never got hired for a head coaching job or any job in the NBA because of it. Kobe was a recluse but still did good interviews. Jordan did great interviews, I don't know where that came from. Durant looks good too. Zo sucks, Clarkson sucks, Randle sucks, Kyle sucks at interviews. Be a pro. Talk and market yourself a little. This is entertainment.
That's my NBA2K lineup in my GM mode when I have time to play. I think Ingram has a chance to play a lot of minutes at the 4 as he gets older in the same way that Durant plays some 5 now. Ingram (and Ball actually) uses his length really effectively. Sure he'll get bullied around a bit, but if he provides a mis-match on the other end it could be worth it.
Yeah Carmelo at 22 years old: 28.9 points 6 rebounds 3.8 assists 1.2 steals 0.4 blocks 47.6FG% 26.8 3PT% 80.8 FT% 38.2 mpg and an All-Star To be fair Carmelo had been in the league for a few years already, but he came in to the league scoring 21 points a game... The man can get buckets. A comparison that sort of floated around for him that I scoffed at but is starting to look real now... a PF version of Klay Thompson. Here's Klay at 22: 16.6 points 3.7 rebounds 2.2 assists 1 steal 0.5 blocks 42.2 FG% 40.1 3PT% 84.1 FT% 35.8 mpg And here's Kuzma now: 17.4 points 6.6 rebounds 1.6 assists 0.3 steals 0.3 blocks 50.7 FG% 40.5 3PT% 76.6 FT% 31.1 mpg
I see a lot of Big Game James in Kyle's game, and his numbers are better than Big Game James' rookie numbers. (that doesn't mean I think he's better or will be in the HOF but I just similarities there).
I was just thinking about Worthy too when it comes to Kyle Kuzma but in a different way. There came a time (granted it took longer but that need not be the case here) where it was just time to move the blue collar glue type player who does all the hard nosed little things white guy (Rambis) to the bench and replace him in the starting lineup with Worthy. See me working here? I know ..... I know ....there are some differences and subtleties going on with the color schemes here but point still stands.
Yup. Especially with his consistent form from beyond the arc. Catch and shoot from deep would be one of the deadliest in his arsenal. Just not now since we currently we have no slasher or any post-up player that attracts a lot of help defending from wings. Player movement isn't as polished either having lack of a bread and butter play. We currently just take on what the defense gives us but when we start dictating the tempo of the game, that's when I can say it's getting real. --- Somewhere along, forgot really the purpose of my post. I've always said in passing, without looking at the numbers, that Kuz is our best player but holy crap that's impressive.
A little bit of sarcasm, as if you aren't prone to that. Calling it condescending is making an issue out of one that's not there, much as you're doing with Kuz's game. Saying to a rook who just had a 38 pt game in a win against a top 3 team that their interview skills are weak is mis-targeting actual needs for improvement by a mile.
It's just fine tuning the marketing. He is rookie of the year so far, it would help to be engaging a little.
No he's not. Ben Simmons is winning that award without question. And if he isn't, Donovan Mitchell is probably the dark horse to win it.
Ben Simmons is ahead in ROTY race alright, but I wouldn't really patch his name on the trophy like it's over already. Not just yet. I have a feeling Kyle will have a 50+ breakout game. Then we'll talk. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
Can we see who stays on the floor for the next most games out of the remaining 50 or whatever ..... first? Before calling it as a slam dunk. Sure right now Simmons would be the choice but the season isn't ending right now and Kuzma's just getting his groove going if Luke will start him too to make it a fair fight.
Malcolm Brogdon Wins 2017 NBA Rookie of the Year Award Everybody knew that from the start of season ,right ?
