I guess it was a perfect combination of Utah + not shooting 3s (so -- a non-stretch 4) + combine as an aberration + positional needs of teams + deep draft.
Im not worried about Lonzo. Eventually that shot will start to fall. If this really is the real Kuzma, picking up an all star out of nowhere is usually a neccesity to become an elire team. Warriors with Draymond, Spurs with Leonard. The only question is what is our lineup if both LBJ and PG 13 come here? Is Kuzma our supersub?
It was reported scouts saw Kuz playing in the Combine and all thought it was a fluke apparently. They thought he was just having a really good game. I bet they're all kicking themselves right now
LeBron, PG and Kuz can play 2/3/4 somewhat interchangeably. Especially PG and KuzGod. So, no problem. BI, on the other hand.... Than again, LeBron is going to be broken in a year, so Kuz will get the start.
LeBron just put up 57 on the Wizards. I doubt he’ll be broken anytime soon. Positionless basketball nowadays anyways.
Honestly, Kuzma is under contract for another 4 years. Kuzma can be our super sub and then a big contract right about when Lebron retires.
Here, here's some pics. Now leave Clarkson alone you brute. He's playing great this year. And leave Walton alone too. https://www.instagram.com/serena_winters/?hl=en
Brilliant game from Kuzma. Looked great with the starters as we hoped he would. We actually led the game before the bench came in at the later part of the first quarter. Might be the first time all year. He was 7 for 8 at the half. Massive double double. This kid impresses me so much.
Clarkson was given the challenge to replace what Lou Williams gave us and to be good enough to win 6th man of the year. You probably didn't like Williams either. Why I would not know. Clarkson is playing better defense and has done a wonderful job of doing just what was asked of him. What's your problem? Does he make mistakes or get caught up in dribbling sometimes too much, but less theses days, trying to accomplish that? Sure, but what player out there is not making mistakes when playing balls out and as fast as he plays the game. Don't understand the hate any more with what Jordan is doing this year.
There are a few reports that scouts thought his performances at workouts were a fluke because he was outplaying guys so badly compared to what he has shown at Utah
