I desperately wanted that last shot to go in. But man, his skillset is insane, had Reggie Miller drooling all game.

In spite of Savory's silly objective way of looking at Kuzma .... he goes straight to the HALL now in real time if he hits that shot.

That dude simply doesn’t have much of a weakness as far as offensive game goes.

Mid and long range. Post up. Floaters and bank shots. Spot up and of a curl or screen. Passing in small space. Even offensive rebounding. Cutting and generally moving without the ball.

Damn. Each game I fear, a little bit, that he is going to come down to earth and stink it up. And he doesn’t.

Yeah a lot of us don't want to be disappointed by expecting too much but I gave in and accepted that he is the real deal.

As Reggie Miller said last night on the broadcast - Steal of the Draft! That was cool to hear him get such props on TNT.

Barkley stated that Kuzma is the best rookie on the Lakers...was adamant about it too.

Another awesome game. We need to run more plays for Kuz. It was ridiculous that he barely got any looks after that great first half.

Kuz' second half is why Larry tends to fit in better with the starters. Lonzo, BI, and Lopez all need the ball to be productive, while Larry doesn't need a play run for him to produce. Kuz isn't quite as adept at setting screens, diving for loose balls, and offensive boards as Larry is.

Spurs would take him at 29. No doubt. And we’d be all like “how do they find them?”

Perhaps, but Kuzma provides something Nance doesn’t. That’s the ability to create off the dribble and shoot from distance. We just need to do a better job getting him involved in these games.

Problem is that Luke isn't practicing a half-court offense right now. It's all defense and and fast breaks.

If we had more elaborate half-court sets, we could incorporate Kuz's abilities more readily by having him curl off screens ala Reggie Miller.

Well then Luke needs to make that adjustment. You can beat teams like the Nets that way, but against the good teams, elite teams in the league you have to execute in the half court.

I honestly dont know what to believe. He has been the best true rookie in the entire league this season so far. Simmons has been better, but Kuzma...i just dont know how he dropped to 27. When is the reason he went there going to show up? Was every scout that wrong? Is he honestly going to be a star?
