this guy is awesome. made a couple of costly turnovers down the stretch, otherwise he had a great game.

kuz is more of an opportunistic scorer. i actually trust randle or clarkson more to get a shot on an iso play, even if they're not as talented offensive players, if that makes sense.

kuzma makes smart, aggressive plays within the flow of the offense, which is actually great--it just doesn't necessarily translate to iso ball. he's like the anti tyreke evans.

As much talent and potential that Lonzo and Ingram have, they both have glaring weaknesses. They need to add more mass/strength and work on their shooting mechanics/consistency.

Kuzma is a much more complete basketball player. As of today, Kuzma is the closest to being our alpha.

He's also 3 years older than them.

Both Zo and Ingram are making strides already, but they will have their ups and downs like any young player will, but their outlook is actually promising. They're smart players.

I’m the biggest Kuz fan here, but I don’t see him as an Alpha now or ever. To me, he’s much closer to a more aggressive Robert Horry than he is to a Durant type A player.

I found myself saying "Get the ball to Kuz!" in the 4th. It's crazy how lucky we are to have gotten him at 27th in arguably one of the deepest drafts of our time.

    Yep. The overreaction is comical.

As if we expect 20 year old kids to have it all figured out.

    Actually 2 years older.

Lonzo and Ingram will get there no doubt. But nothing's stopping Kuz from improving in 2 years as well. Lonzo/Ingram may become better players, or the gap may never close. While we wait to find out, Kuzma remains the better player today.

What overreaction? I'm taking nothing away from Lonzo. The kid is a stud. 10/7/7 is no joke from a rookie PG. Kuzma is just better.

Praising Kuzma shouldn't be taken as a knock on other players. Just giving credit where its due. The kid has the potential to be something special. Everyone should be thrilled right now honestly. Yes, he's got work to do like any other rookie, but I don't see why anyone wouldn't be happy with where he is now and how he is playing.

Well, one player who's already come in and affected the culture of this offense.

That already speaks volumes in my eyes.

I don't get the point of pointing out "who better" on our team. It just sounds like you're hoping one fails to sound right.

Hmm hoping an aggressive Horry translates to more than 7 rings.

Why would I want our future PG to fail? That's ridiculous. I'm just making an obvious observation. I'm rooting for both of them to bring home that ROTY trophy. And Kuzma seems closer right now.

I didn't say you wanted to, I said it sounds like it.

You saying that "the gap may never close" is a type of rhetorical statement that is trying to prove a point.

Let's just be happy that we have all three of these guys on our team, instead of comparing them to each other like one is worse than the other.

Come on man, you're quoting me out of context. I actually said:

Which is totally fair to both sides.

And I think determining the pecking order in team sports is important, but I guess that's for a different discussion.

IMO we need to play Kuz like Detroit use to play Rip Hamilton. Run him off of double screens, Curls, strong side pic and roll/pop action. Anything to brush his man off receive the pass, and get him a little space to score or pass to the open man, which he's also shockingly good at.

Hes not an iso player yet, but he's still our best option to get a bucket if we run plays to get him open.
