Had no idea Rico Hines was working with Sac these days... was nice to see him develop during his time at UCLA

i've seen all that, too, which is why i said we shouldn't compromise our defensive identity for an expensive sharpshooter.

Am going to imagine for here and for the draft thread that at least one call by later today to Handy, "talk to us Phil, how's THT looking today. How much progress since end of season?" Or to whoever is checking him out last couple days. This kid could sure solve a lot of problems for us if he blows up this year. I bet he was told that as well in his exit meeting. A starting position is his for the TAKING.

i really wonder if we plan to move kuz for a guard or a big and just have THT step into his backup sf role. i know he seems small for that, but he's strong and has long arms.

If we can turn Kuz, Trezz, and pick into Hield, Melo, larger role for THT, and a reupped Wes; I like that move a lot.

On paper it looks like a lot (especially that we keep upping the offer), but if Trezz was going to leave regardless and the fact that Hield's contract gets cheaper each year... that helps sell it.

Yes, was a really pleasant surprise to read that Trezz would be up for a sign and trade to Sacramento. Had assumed he was just going to walk, same as I still feel Marc will after last season's handling of him.

BTW, too lazy to check, are Marc and Pau playing for Spain?

LOL, also impatient so I just checked and they're both on the roster. How are they doing, the two of them? Marc sweating some FAT off in case he wants to come back to Lakers?

Give me DD over Hield all day.

    I'll take 3rd star over a Hield's shooting

Maybe Pop is too busy worrying about his first year Olympic coaching suckage and reputation to remember to screw us and demand THT or AC as well as Kuz and the 22nd pick?

Go to work LeGM. Get DDR for the min AND keep Kuz.

The turnoff about DDR is he doesnt even look to shoot the 3 which is an awful attribute for a perimeter player. I like him as a scorer off the bench to run the offense or get midrange buckets.

    Adios Kuz.

You were never going to be a long term fit with AD here. Good luck in DC. Hope you dominate the fashion scene there.

I said I was opposed to trading Kuz just for the sake of trading him. This is not that. Good luck wherever you end up Kuz.

Kuz is gonna average 20 a night. He just needs to find his way in the league. He'll do just fine in Washington

Yeah I think he’s going to do well wherever he lands if given a green light, he’s not as good as his rookie year, and he’s not as bad as his worst year, somewhere in the middle. He’s a solid NBA player for sure though, I wish him well, I’m glad he wasn’t a throw-in for AD, as he ended up helping us land another star.

i actually thought he was a much better basketball player the last two years vs. the first two. we were just so terrible back then that somebody had to do something.

i'd like to see what he can do as a starting sf. over time, i think that's the role he needed to play, and here he was with ingram and then lebron (or both).

if washington keeps beal, i think he could play off him (and hachimura) quite well, in theory. can't imagine beal wants to roll with that, but...
