Enjoy it young fella. Has bragging rights over the other kids he played with who are mostly with NOH now.
From Zero to Herro You chose wrong madam... And oh HUMILITY goes a LONG LONG WAY... (and that goes to you too Kuz).
Teams shouldn't missed on Green and Kuz championship experience . If I were an opponent GM , I'd call Rob and offer him RIGHT NOW a good player for them in order to weaken the Lakers next season !
Enjoy it Kuz, you will be a lot better next year now that you know what this is all about! Keep working hard.
If I am the Lakers, I would only move Kuzma if we could get rid of Danny Green with him as well. I just don't like Kuzma's inconsistency. I felt every time he went in, the Lakers started playing clumsy. We've been defending Kuzma for years now. It's time to admit that he's just a scorer who needs the ball and the Lakers can't provide that to him.
I don't understand the logistics of this. Different coasts. Did she move for Herro? Or did she hook up with Herro, dumping Kuz in process, in LA? So, it must have been in the offseason - when Herro was a nobody. So many questions...
Kuz was killing it for a lot of the bubble. Unfortunately though he cooled off considerably as we moved forward through the rounds of the playoffs until he was just at an average kind of level for a bench guy. He wasn’t bad but he didn’t excel. He was just ok which was good enough. But his low basketball IQ popped up a lot and I can see from Lebron’s body language that he wasn’t thrilled with that. I defended Kuz plenty this year but if he’s in a package with Green/and or Bradley for an upgrade in the guard/wing department I’m cool with it.
The only thing Kuz has going for him is he's cheap and on the occasion, can drop 20 playing decent defense. But after that, then what? Better we get rid of him when he's at his highest value which will be this offseason so we can package him+DG away. Bradley is on a player option. Lakers wouldn't trade him after he opts-in.. most likely they will let him know if they plan on trading him so Bradley can choose his own destination. This is one of the most loyal franchises in sports. No way we do Bradley like that. I'm sad to say but what if a team wanted AC in a DG+Kuz package? Thoughts?
Not if Vogel and LeBron have input on that. Which of course they will. He's cheap and going to get better offensively still. Can worry about resigning him next off season.
If Kyle Kuzma is to get better, he will have to change his lifestyle. Focus on the little things is what he needs. Understanding spacing, when to shoot, work on your handles and start getting into Reggie Miller shape. The one thing that he has been consistent in his 3 years is when he slashes to the rim, he converts. He is 6'10 and long. And what happen to his floater? He was nailing those all over the place before. That's because his confidence is not there. Kuz has two ways to go here. He either becomes Frank Vanvleet or just another guy who had potential to be an all star that didn't pan out.
Can these guys at least enjoy their championship for a few days without speculation we will get rid of them lol
Thank you for the memories, Kuz I hope that you can improve this summer...but most likely, you won't Nice role player for us on a cheap contract but if we can get someone better and he has to be in the deal, I won't hesitate. But I also would love it still if he got better next year and actually did become the third option for us. Likely that won't happen though - and that's OK. Still got love for KUZ...had one really nice game in the finals which we wasted and he gave maximum effort on D (even if he was still making mistakes), and that's all we could ask for from him.
