Garbage performance. -17 The moment was too big for him. Which sucks. This performance and really his performance since the start of the WCF has really cemented the player he is.
hopefully this close out game was a good experience for him, but he's been far too invisible since the playoffs started he's not as good as he thinks he is, but he could be
Worst case scenario, i'll have to watch him 2 more times. After that, it's 2-4 times a year. Good riddance...
If he didn’t want to play he should have stayed in his room. From the second he got on the court he looked like he’d rather be anywhere else, one of the worst games I’ve ever seen him play.
I'm tired of the "he's young and developing" excuses. He constantly makes dumb, fixable mistakes. That isn't because he's young. Plenty of rookies play with higher basketball IQ. He is not progressing.
He’s not even “young” anymore as far as inexperience excuses go. He’s a year younger than friggin AD.
i don't know how the hell he has any common sense to complain on the Duncan 4pt play, guy is absolutely clueless
There is justice , at least , at our cost but still ... You can't be that metrosexual and be good at B-ball
The problem with Kuz is that once every five or six games he shows up in a crucial spot, and we forget the previous 4-5 games. He's inconsistent, to say the least. With that said, this loss doesn't rest on his shoulders.
He peaked in year 2. He is slightly better on D. Slightly worse on offense. We need to move him this off-season before other teams realize he's a finished product.
I have to admit I have been a big Kuzma fan since he played in the summer league and outplayed Lonzo. While I am man enough to admit that he really sucked last night. Yes all this year his defense has really improved. He did seem lost out there and I didn't want him to play late in the 4th. I am not saying he is a great defender because the other night when I went to bed and started pumping it, there Kuzma was, even going for my fake. That being said as one the few lakers who can create his own shot or his own miss..i don't want to give up on Kuz, unless we can get real value for him.
didn't he play great after the startup? This is his first playoffs, and he's getting an education on Playoff Intensity, and clearly he's not ready to have the same impact as he could have in the regular season. Should be interesting to see if he gets that chance again next year or not. When you have a star like Lebron in his final years, and AD with him, you don't really spend so much time grooming. You're almost better off getting players ready to contribute in that situation. I'm a bit disappointed that Dudley hasn't been given the opportunity for a few quality minutes actually.
