and incentive not to tank anymore because our pick ownership was getting spottier. this has become a weird place.

no. what "others" said is that it was a good decision to make that trade. nobody made predictions; they made assessments.

If you say I like the trade... I have no argument with you.
When you declare it like it's empirical fact like the Earth is round, then I take issue.

I'm in the don't do anything camp till we see what Rondo does for us. What he brings may be just what we need. These older guys seem to crank another gear out when realistic championship possibilities are there. All Kuz needs is patience. Trying to be too much too soon.

Even if rondo brings us some needed playmaking off the bench, still 2 things:

    1) Hes not a creator for himself, so still not a guy who can go and attack often and score

    2) Shooting is still a big issue, he certainly doesn't help there.

in fairness, we have guys who have shot the ball well in the nba before. they're just not doing it now. is that our fault? maybe. but how? i mean, cook and daniels stayed in the league because they could hit from long range. and they're at 32% on clean looks so far. *shrugs*

If this is Kuzma we are getting this year -- we will probably win it all, barring some stupid s*** from Bron or AD falling apart.

i don't think it's that simple, but it would be helpful if he were closer to this than what he's been, for sure. and i think he will be. again, he didn't forget how to play basketball in 2 months.

Let's put it this way; if can shoot a decent percentage from 3, we're in business.

That 3 point shot is key for him (hitting open 3s)

I like his variety of shots tonight, though. I also liked the way he attacked in transition.

i was hoping to see him play with our best passers more, as i think he's got a knack for finding easy buckets on offense, like shawn marion used to. you can't teach that stuff, but if there's nobody to find you, it doesn't matter (ask shawn about playing without nash or kidd).

but yeah, knocking down the open three will be huge. his form has always looked pretty good to me, and word was he was hitting in the summer. fingers crossed.

Kuzma finally started to attack, something he wasn't doing in the beginning

Still has some poor vision when guys are wide open

Good game tonight though on offense

Good game from Kuzma, but again, I would trade him for the right pieces.

As a 6th man, I'd prefer a shot-creator that's more reliable and less streaky. Still puzzling why we gave up Lou Williams for peanuts.

Kuz is only going to get better as the season goes. I wouldn't call him a great shot creator, but are we all forgetting how he can attack the rim,
finish with baby hooks ect? Kuz will fit the 6th man role just fine. Now come on over iggy and lets party.

The trade essentially got us Kuzma and at the time we did him a solid by trading him to Houston away from our tanking.

I don't disagree, and I don't mind keeping him either. I'm only referring to the post by Mr. Rambis where he mentions that the front office is assessing his value on the open market. If the opportunity is there for the right piece, I'd move him. I don't really consider him one of the pillars of this team.

Well I think Lou is a much better 6th man than Kuzma, so there's that.
