It was also established he is Jeannie's pool boy. Granted Jeannie calls him her Ja-Kuz-y Boy... ......... ......... I'm so sorry. So very sorry.
Alright Kuz, time to show why you are the guy we kept. Think he’s gonna be a super 6th man next season and a big part with load management for the stars.
Kuz is going to put in work this off season. This kid was already driven. He already proved he would put in work cause thats what he does for himself. Now that he is the ONLY one of the young core standing I expect him to have "something" to prove. Trading Zo and BI will have people talking about why Kuz was kept. This kid is motivated already but I think this will motivate him more.
He's proven that he can play alongside Lebron and get his offensively. That's a real positive about us being able to keep him. When we go small, Kuz/Lebron/AD should be very fun to watch together. In the meantime Kuz is at least a scoring punch off the bench.
Kuz is the easiest fit with the new look Lakers and that only magnifies when we add a tier 1 FA. He's smooth, will fit with multiple lineup options, and I'm hoping the work on his J this summer pays off. He'll be wide f***ing open, a lot. The outgoing duo will have a big year in NO, I think he'll try to keep up and show why he deserved to be the one who stayed.
It's already been reported that he hired a shooting coach this off-season 'LethalShooter' his coach goes by on social media and called Metta up to work on defense. I thoroughly enjoyed going back tonight and watching the following games that showcase why Rob and ownership wanted to keep Kuzma so badly. Besides the maturity and kid has that swagger and confidence combine with the work ethic to be a gem for us to go along with AD - Lebron - 3rd Max Player. Besides the shooting highlights look at how well Kuzma can move without the ball to find space for Lebron and company to find him. That will be critical when playing with our other all stars. Rookie year, but can't forget that 4th quarter takeover vs. C Bags
ty tried to "splain" this over the phone to a bud today who was going off about Kuz's D that he has made improvements and shown flashes. For one thing he has as quick of feet as anyone at the 4 right now and once he takes the time to translate that to lateral movement or include it, we will see a good defender and if nothing else a good help defender to AD and others. The perimeter shot develops as it should, most this young aren't great, then he stretches the floor.
Agree. I think Vogel will help with his development on the defensive end. If nothing else I don’t think he’ll be asked to guard centers and other poor matchups.
Hand of the king...now I know what people on Reddit were talking about when I was searching for doom.
