He’s lucky to have a second tier star like LeBron who will be willing to pass him the ball in crunch time. Every Batman needs a Robin
His interview with Worthy and Chris Mcgee was a lot better and Kuz was more himself. Not as nervous and hardly any "You knows".
I just realized LFR now has media access for interviewing and shooting his own (hopefully horizontal) phone (or maybe better) footage for doing what he does. How bleeping awesome is that?
I don't like this idea of Kuzma playing back up 5. We need to scrap that quickly and put him at the 4 exclusively.
Yeah .... not so much either but maybe with right match ups in games. Moe will be good in that roll if he gets healthy and they give him some run before the start of the season. Otherwise he may be in the G-League at first.
I’m not entirely opposed to the concept but Jokic just isn’t the best matchup for Kuz as the small ball 5. I think it could work just fine for 10 MPG against most of the league, with certain exceptions (Jokic, Embiid to name a couple).
I have no issue with it. We need to be creative to cover our gap at backup Center. We wanted to run small ball lineups anyway. Give me Ball/Hart or Pope or Stephenson/Ingram/LeBron/Kuzma if we can make it work that lineup switches basically everything defensively, can run, can gun, can cover ground. We need that sort of versatility.
Im a bit concerned that Kuzma and the staff want him to be more than he is. Focus on being a better version of what you were last year young fella. The rest will follow. On a slightly different note, luke is a players coach but he can't make all the ball handlers happy. The ball needs to be in Kuzmas hands in the second unit. Not lance.
He was improved on defense and showed that he is more than a scorer making some nice reads offensively. yes, there were times he passed up good looks but a lot of players did.
