Westbrook said today that Durant told him, to his face, that he was coming back to OKC. Never called to tell him GS. I hope opening night has those 2 teams playing each other. And Christmas.
SI report: http://www.si.com/nba/2016/07/27/kevin-durant-told-russell-westbrook-was-staying-thunder-warriors Durant pulled what Elton Brand did to Baron Davis...
I liked what Klay Thompson said recently when asked about having only 1 ball to go around: "Sure there is only 1 ball, but its going in the basket." That's not the exact quote but paraphrasing what he's saying.
Ya that looks terrible. Kobe has enough of these sequences too. You take the good with the bad I guess. Kobe had earned the right to have an occasional blunder. Russell does too.
Exactly. That has a nice ring to it as well. I rewatched his last game and forgot that one of the many records he broke that night was most shots taken in a game.
^^^ Hell....Yeah!! New retirement game "BAR" for any sport set so frickin' high it likely will NEVER be touched or even approached by anyone in that age bracket after a 2 decades give or take couple years ..... HOF career.
KD is too nice to firmly ask for the ball ... KD is the most efficient player between the two BY FAR , Westbrook taking more shots in games should have never happened as much as it did . I noticed the same thing with Team USA KD should impose his will much more and tell inferior scorers to get in the line ...
He recently said he plays best when he doesn't worry about winning and just focuses on fun. That tells me he will never be that guy that demands the ball. I think he found a situation in Golden State that suits him perfectly as a personality. And that the dominant personalities on that team aren't ball hogging iso mode checkers, but team players.
FUN?? Someone say FUN? BTW in hunting through the images after doing this search silly images Dwight Howard look what popped up. Our boy is gettin' famous.
Freakin weird watching the Warriors/Raptors game right now seeing Kevin Durant in a Warriors jersey. It's also weird because it's the most super "superteam" I've ever seen. It's pretty much like a team USA squad or mini all-star team. Actually seeing it happening in front of me now, I think Durant is a giant wuss and it's one of the biggest punk moves by a star player of all time. Can't beat em, join em, lost all respect for him.
