A Kobe-lead team was consistently one of the highest assisted teams in the league. Meanwhile, the Thunder are consistently one of the least assisted teams in the league.
I know it's not him and that's why I still respect him a little. He's just not the guy we all wanted him to be and I recognize that it's unfair of us to hold him to that standard. He's an MVP but he's not one of the All-Time guys. It's why my respect for LeBron went up this summer. Weird that Durant and LeBron switched places sort of.
There is hope you know that this isn't a slam dunk for next 5 years (I don't believe that anyway). The Warriors are one messed up back finally saying, f*** it ....away from this and the end of its dynasty.
How will they pay everyone when everyone needs to be paid? Will they all be willing to take a pay cut? Or will there still be a mass of vets willing to sign for the vet min to put around them.
i like derozan. he's probably going to end up getting the rudy gay treatment from both the raptors and the media, but he's a good player and seems like a good guy. i see a distinct possibility of trading for him within a couple years.
Yeah he really seems like Rudy Gay again. In two years when the realize they're not good enough for anything, they'll send him to Sacramento for two years and then he'll end up in Memphis where he'll last a season before demanding a trade... Then there will be rumors of him being traded for a younger, star PF in a big media market.
Durant has a restaurant here in OKC. It's actually pretty good. Today it was announce it's shutting down, effective immediately. I don't know if it's because he left or people stopped going. Yes, they're mad at him. I keep telling them that if they think Oakland stole him, they should talk to the people in Seattle on ways to get over it.
yeah, i feel really bad for okc...just kidding. that scumbag owner should get to watch westbrook walk, then be forced to sell the team to the seattle group.
He bought the team promising to keep it in Seattle then up and moved to Oklahoma anyway. I heard that restaurant is going to reopen with a new name @John3:16 probably a good move.
this was the same guy that basically admitted that the pressures of going to LA made him stay put in Toronto
yea i read an article after he stayed with the Raptors about him setting records there...then he made a comment about needing 5 titles in LA to be mentioned with the greats...something along those lines reeked of beta-ness
