monk and nunn are both good at attacking closeouts--which is a useful skill for sure. but neither has impressed me running actions from the top.

Nah, means a continued dosage of Rondo and Bradley coming in for whatever 2 guard is getting abused defensively.

So, that means more Westbrook + Rondo 1-2 punch that is just not going to work. Ever.

For the next couple months, probably.

The only positive from that lineup (and I mentioned it somewhere else, Rondo thread maybe) is that I think it will help Russ get acclimated to playing next to Bron quicker. Bron and 'Do are very different players, but are somewhat similar as ball dominant facilitators and Vogel can keep some concept consistency when either of those two are in and that should help Russ catch on sooner.

Any news on Nunn? They said he’d be evaluated in two to three weeks when he was diagnosed and we are on the late end of that right now. We could use him back.

This is all I've seen recently, doesn't sound like he or Talen will be back to soon. I'm hoping Thanksgiving at least, then it'll be a minute for both to get into game shape. That's why I'm targeting Christmas as the time to expect a full squad.

I don't get this injury at all. Bones bruise or did the bone explode?

Currently I don't see Nunn as being the solution to any of our problems. He duplicates Monk.

We need defense and the right mentality. We also need to get rid of Westbrick.

Nunn is exactly what we need, this why we signed him. He is a midrange scorer not a three point specialist. You can't defense your way to anything against good scorers, this is why Bradley shouldn't start, he can't shoot. Sometimes that works, but if you can't score, the defense isn't going to always save you. KCP is an example, he always played solid D, but his shot came and went.

we won more when we played defenders instead of shooters.

    Nunn isn't Monk - he's a playmaker/scorer who backs up Russ.
