i've been hearing about nunn supposedly having character issues. were there reports of him being a locker room problem in miami?
Always good to have a successful undrafted player on your team. That chip on their shoulder never goes away.
…. but Wait there’s MOAR. Just saw on LG that Nunn and THT are “Boys”. Both from Chicago area and they work out together.
i hadn't heard anything specific. the only troubling thing i see is that for all of his production, his team was generally better when he wasn't on the floor. that can be for multiple reasons, though, and we'll see how it shakes out here. for now, i think he fills an important role as the third ballhandler on the team (4th if you count THT in this category).
It better not be lol unless THT develops into a superstar which is a reach at this point. He is special though, but have a loooong way to go
^ But he might, and Nunn is really good. Don't forget we'll have Luka playing some wing for us at that point.
https://www.freep.com/story/sports/...asketball-kendrick-nunn-greg-kampe/331983002/ Domestic abuse incident a while back is all I know of. Haven’t heard anything about causing problems in the locker room.
Cowherd was talking about Nunn today on the radio saying that the last 2 GM's he's played for have just dumped him because of character issues and not seeing the potential others might be seeing. Cowherds a sharp guy but I disagree with his views quite often. He's paid to be controversial though, otherwise his show would be crap so who knows. He sure s***s on Westbrook religiously lol
hasn't nunn only played for miami, though? so he's only been dumped once. i think it's clear he's not a star, but we're asking him to be a backup scoring guard. i think he can do that well. maybe better than patty mills, lou williams, and others that are coveted around the league.
Even that's a reach to be honest. He is wrong so often and flip flops so much, I honestly don't even know what he thinks at any given moment.
