KCP isn't waiving his NTC. Lets all come to agreement and your life will be easier that way His man defense has actually been disappointing, but he gives effort, decent team defender, and has been hitting his 3s (almost 40% on season and started off ICE cold) Still not sure if I can trust him in a deep playoff rotation, but he might be winning us all over. I thought Avery would be a guy I can trust....no way Better defender than KCP, and a very pesky defender, but we have spacing problems already He would be great on Toronto tbh or a couple other teams
The way KCP has been shooting the 3 and playing with confidence and decent defense with all of his speed and athleticism ..... I liked that closing lineup of him with Lebron, AD, Kuzma and Caruso. Everyone can shoot and play decent to good or great defense.
I think KCP has peaked, which is good. I don’t expect that he can do more than what he’s doing and that’s fine. Good job KCP.
He was ballin' tonight. Good stuff. He's really recovered since that awful start. Props where they are due.
Props to KCP and to Lethal Shooter. No one saw this 180 turnaround coming after starting with the worst play of his time in L.A. at the beginning of this season. :Kuzmawhoknew: And props to Vogel for not giving up on him. Probably had no choice but still.
Maybe we can take a lesson from this and be patient with Daniels and Cook as well. How can someone shoot 40% from three for a career and then forget how to shoot? KCP has steadily improved his shooting since he came from Detroit. He was inconsistent when he was dealing with his jail situation, but other than that he's had more good games than bad. His passing has also improved from the time when he was almost guaranteed to screw up a 3 on 2 fast break. I think he's mostly a victim of the hype from his 4 for 80 million dollar contract that he turned down to come here. He didn't play like a 20 million dollar player so people were upset. Except for now... right now he actually is worth close to those numbers if he continues to shoot at this efficiency. Well, maybe not 20 million but certainly the 8 million we have him locked up for the next two years. For some reason Vogel has been patient with KCP and Bradley and not so much with Cook and Daniels. With KCP it's paid off... with Bradley it hasn't. I also see why he keeps letting Bradley shoot. Bradley has historically shot over 36% from three and should do better than 24% KCP and Bradley have better defensive reputations but Bradley's RPM is worse than Cook or Daniels. Somehow Vogel needs to find a way to integrate more minutes for his shooters. If we get them going then I think we can win a title this season.
KC3. What a season this guy has had. And I"m going to give MAJOR props to DWIGHT HOWARD for coming out on IG and sticking up for KCP. I feel like ever since he did that - KCP has been on a tear. That's how you uplift a teammate - come to their defense PUBLICLY on a platform like IG. He's been our 4th best player this year and we badly need that consistency from either him or Green to be able to beat the Clippers and Bucks this year. And yes - KCP needs to start and he also needs to be in our CLOSING lineup. He's that good.
LBJ, AD, Kuz, KCP and Caruso in crunch time a lot I hope. Good D and everyone can shoot or get to the rim with decent opening.
If we're going for a basket. If we need a stop, i want Dwight in there. Only guy that fights for rebounds.
