so 2 prior seasons at 18M and then 12M wasn't enough for him to do those things but now he will for 8M?
.... has to. Put up or shut up for that next contract whoever pays it. No more Lakers subsidizing his career.
i don't know, paul has now delivered both lebron and AD (no way we get AD in an open bidding situation). i can imagine him feeling like he's still on the right side of the ledger vis a vis the lakers. kcp is the tax.
The funny thing is, AD waived his trade kicker in the hopes of getting Kawhi, but left it waived when we didn't get him and we used a chunk of it to sign KCP. Klutch Socialism.
"KCP has been on a mission this offseason! What role do you see him in this year?" I kid you not, I forgot we resigned him. Not sure how I did considering how much I b****ed about the signing, but I forgot we signed him until this recent bump to the top.
On the flip side it's got to be his best year here and that will be a plus over the last 2 years' best we saw out of him l think. He's in his prime physically. Let's see how well all this work pays off and just how good Phil Handy is in teaching these guys how to be better players with better skills execution.
call me a cynic but kcpoop will get his $ from Rob AGAIN whether hes good or bad, bad=less $ but multi yr deal, good season=bird rights overpay (lebron tax)
Welp - KCP will become very important for us if Kuzma is a no go. Closing lineups: AD LeBron Green KCP Bradley (?) excuse me while I puke
