    Y'all saying dude is Deng...well that's like saying Magic/Rob is Jimmy/Mitch. Also, dude's played longer than 13 minutes for the entire f***ing season and dude is essentially on a 2 yr 30m deal.. That other guy 1yr&13mins 65m

    So yeah, they not alike and y'all are wrong.

    We need to trade him straight up for Markieff Morris. Washington gets a 3rd guard and insurance in case Wall/Beal gets injured. We get a small ball five that is tough and can hit the open shot. Plus the salaries/contracts match.

    It was tho (ie picking up Jules 12.4m qualifying offer. That was on our books before KCP re-upped with us.

    May 20th:
    So Jules is fine with coming back, Rob wants Jules back...Mintz throws negativity into the discussion.

    June 26th: pick up Jules QO

    July 2nd: Meeting with Jules/Mintz to discuss contract/future

    Hours later we rescind his QO (doing him and Mintz a solid btw cause now they could sign with whomever and whenever they like)

    Dude didn't even properly say goodbye to his LA fans...it's the least he coulda done if he didn't want to say anything about the Lakers and the franchise.

    You can't bring back a player that doesn't want to be here. And it's not like he was exclusively looking for a long-term deal (look no further than his NOP contract which is a psuedo 1yr deal...also he didn't want LA cause it would dramatically change his role, so I guess he was looking for that bench time again in NOP). He coulda made much more here on a 1yr deal and then we lock him up next summer.

    Let's stop making excuses for him and his camp... bunch of lames tbh!

    Lakers are already clogged at the 4. Someone had to go. We still have too many now. Lakers will need to make a decision soon on how this teams goes in the near future.

    KCP has a de facto no-trade clause.

    The only way to get him out is probably to bench him and make him uncomfortable, but unfortunately that'll also nuke his value.

    Send him home (Georgia) and he may relent on his no-trade clause. But ATL is loaded to the teeth with SGs, so we would have to find a 3rd team that they can reroute Baze to..."hey Vlade, you got Magic on line 1."
