KCP Discussion: Kentavious Can Produce!

As much as he drives us crazy, KCP is an integral part of the success of this team. I liken him to a smartphone. He is guaranteed to reset to factory settings at least twice a season. I’m confident he’ll reboot and get back to a hot shooting streak when we need it most.

 

we need him, especially against this team, and even if he's not shooting well. his defensive activity on the perimeter is not something we can really replace (AC and wes aren't as fast, schroder isn't big enough).

 

There ya go Wes. Warm up, get happy with your shot, hit a couple to start the game. Knock Chris Paul on his a** if the chance happens along.

Yeah Wes could not stop fouling Booker , don't the have the lateral quickness of KCP

 

If he can go at least 20 mins that would be a huge help

First time in playoffs history a starting backcourt doesn't score a single point , right ?

i'd agree but we have no one else to guard booker, so i think we had to try it. it failed.

but again, he's hurt and shouldn't be playing. people need to remember this while harping on his lack of scoring.

 

He stepped it up in game 6 but way too late. Games 1-5, KCP made only one three. That is unacceptable. He's got great hustle and can play some good defense but man, it hurt seeing him play that awful when he played so well for us in the playoffs. I think he will end up staying a Lakers.

 

I don't think we got to see playoff KCP because of injuries. He grinded it out tonight. Not really sure what's in store for him. I wouldn't be surprised if he's our starting 2 again or if he's sent out to match salaries.
