    HAHA for real, and they had the 12 and 14 pick this draft. Maybe if the Spurs get desperate they just take those rookies just to screw us. That's what worries me right now more than Philly did. That would really blow.

    I'm not sure I understand what I'm reading there, but if they're saying it's been done for a couple days, that sort of lines up with the Vegas odds books.

    Two different people (one on twitter, one on Spurs Talk) saying it's done. But I don't buy it.

    I have a feeling the Spurs will drag this out like the Magic did with Dwight Howard, and we eventually find a 3rd team to take Deng and maybe Ingram.

    Do those guys who bet generally have inside information? I'm not too familiar with Vegas odds. I just have a hard time believing this stuff won't leak if something was done. There's so many people who have to keep their mouths shut. We heard rumblings about LeBron and PG for several days beforehand, to be honest.

    Vegas isn't in the business of losing money. They were out front of LeBron for at least a week. For them, it was likely the entertainment sources that let them know. Hollywood knew about LeBron for a year.

    Vegas, the day or two before LeBron signed, moved his odds to LA to something like -5000 which means you'd have to bet 5000 dollars just to win 100. A couple days ago they set the Kawhi line at -1000 for LA and moved LA into the lead to win a title (before the Boogie line). I'm pretty sure they got wind that something was up because that is a VERY aggressive line. I'm not sure where it is now though.

    Thanks. Guessing things moved back in GS's favor? Tbh though even without Boogie I'm not 100% confident we can beat GS.

    If we get Kawhi while keeping a couple of these kids I think we give them a run for their money for sure.

    The line went back to Golden State to win the title, and we slid to 3rd, but still 3rd is pretty high.

    Yeah we can. I think we can copy a 04 Pistons style team but with LeBron as a star (instead of Billups). But it's not certain...

    3rd is high. Currently, I don't have us as the 3rd best team in the NBA. I'd say Boston, GS, and Houston are all ahead. That changes with Leonard.

    I think with LeBron you cant rule out any standing, but I have us in the 3-4 spot based on talent. Chemistry might take a while with our characters though.

    Kuwai either wants to be a Laker or he doesn't. If he does, great, he'll get here one way or another. If he doesn't want to be here, then we survived a $40 million bullet.
