    Cuffs is legit. Not a Woj news source legit, but he called LeBron to LA before FA started. During that time, people were showing old tweets of his and LeBron commenting to him.

    Cuffs is a friend of LeBron’s and also a trainer in the Cleveland area. In 2014, he posted a picture of LeBron’s Cavs jersey in his son’s closet, hinting that he knew LeBron was returning to Ohio. He’s recently hinted at that again here, proving he knew the decision ahead of time.

    Now, Cuffs clearly thinks LeBron is going to Los Angeles.

    Minnesota committing highway robbery in that deal. Flipping a disgruntled Butler for BI? Would be a HELL of a score for them.

    They have to take on a bad deal too, but I agree.

    I think all teams win that trade, no? Assuming that Jimmy Butler agrees to an extension upon the deal being done?

    Definitely a decent deal.

    Big question is whether the Spurs are trying to win now still. In this trade, they essentially downgrade from Kawhi to Butler (along with a decent prospect in Zu and a low 1st-rounder from the Lakers). If I were them, I'd prefer to score BI and try to tap into his vast potential. Play the long game. Not sure how they feel about BI, though.

    I would think the Spurs would love Ingram, but obviously they're holding out for more.

    Check this out though: say the Spurs make this move, they go into the summer of 2019 with:

    Butler- 32.4 (30% of the estimated 108 cap on a 1+1 or a 2+1 deal)
    Aldridge- 26
    Mills- 12.4
    Murray- 2.3
    Walker- 2
    White- 1.9
    Cap Holds estimated- 6
    Total- 83 million

    That leaves them 25 million to spend. Find someone to take on Mills contract and you can go get Kyrie to pair with Butler in the 2019 summer. Go into the year with Butler/Kyrie/Aldridge and Walker in the wings?
