    Hey borri!

It's not chronic, but possibly repeatable. Chronic implies it'll come back on its own, but there's a chance his muscle is weakened. As recently as Shams's first article on this when the news broke that Kawhi wanted out, Kawhi was reported as being "close to 100%" so we can assume he's not 100% right now.

So are the majority of us willing to let go of our entire young core for kawhi? Julius, kuz, BI, and hart? That’s a steep price man... I’m all for just going for PG, cousins, lebron, and other solid FA’s out there.... I do not wanna blow it up for this guy and then potentially get lebron and pg, and still have no supporting cast...

    Sup realdeal!

I've always been a fan of Kawhi. If Lebron comes, I'd would be ok with losing Kuzma and BI (overpayment BTW)....but i'd be ok with it and not lose too much sleep. This PG fiasco gives me pause about waiting til 2019 to get him. Don't want to see another stupid "special" about Kawhi's big decision in 2019.

Damn, that gauntlets gone to your head....

Anywho...before I lost track of Time...(maybe an infinity stone can help me get it back)

@lakerfan2 I think all things can be forgiven (see Dallas trying to bring DJ back), but Pritchbitch is a tough nut to crack. Supposedly we offered Jules or JC + 27/28 (in other words a "couple" 1st rounders as in 2, which is what someone would say if they are trying to say 2...anyways I digress), but it seems that Pritchbitch didn't value Jules like that.

What we know is that LA is working on getting future 1sts by taking on salary...ATL and the Cbags have 3 next summer. But we ain't dealing with the Cbags, so there's a deal to be had with ATL.

ATL was trying to move Shroeder (who demanded out and actually wants to play in Indy)...again there's a deal here.

Spurs are demanding the farm, but maybe LA's play is we'll wait it out till next summer if you don't pull on our best offer now (which means no kids, but instead draft capital and our recent draft picks). So trying to take on salary to gain picks is a way for LA to spare trading their kids.

Now consider that Indy has 20M in nonguaranteed contracts that would be perfect for a team that is looking to shed salary, like the Spurs are reported to. The Pacers can either waive these contracts to gain further cap space or use them in a trade to bring back an asset like Shroe and still be in play for free agency (ie Aaron Gordon).

If push comes to shove and Spurs need just a little more push, then AT THE MOST, I repeat, we should bargain so that less assets get moved, but AT THE MOST, you can do something like this:

SA: Jules (s&t), 20M in Non-guaranteed contracts of Collison and Jefferson, Moe, Bonga and Svi, ATL & Indy future 1stS (not meant to be a "couple" but plural)
ATL: Zu, LA pick swaps, expiring Thaddeus Young
    Indy: Shroeder
    LA: Kawhi, Mills, Plumlee

SA gets off money with dumping Mills on us and also creating more playing time for Murray...and they can reup Parker on legacy 1 year deal to backup Murray.... plus they get non-guaranteed contracts that they can take off the books as well. They get a fresh crop of young players/picks along with Jules.

Atl gets off Shroeder and Plumlee's deals and pick up an expiring Young and Zu and all it cost them was some draft capital that they have plenty of in the near future.

Indy gets to pair Oladipo with Shroeder and is still in play to go add Gordon with all the salary they dumped.

We get Kawhi....but more importantly save our kids from being shipped out. With PG not looking so certain, the trade off is that we added salary. Mills is for sure a commitment but there are worse options at backup PG for Zo and Plumlee has a 2 year deal that's not all that scary.

    Kawhi (20)
    Deng (18)
    Mills (11.5)
    Plumlee (12.5)
    Kids (16)
    = 78M (23M in cap space)

Stretch Deng and you open up roughly 34M in cap. Its a small haircut for Bron, but maybe accepts it knowing he has Kawhi and also all the kids are still there.

And again, just a suggestion...take the Time to read my posts carefully before making preposterous insinuations. Thx.

And for those that can barely keep their eyes open to read this correctly, I think this is where you need to stop fighting it and just...

I'm so glad Magic and Rob don't seem willing to sell off the future for the short term.

You give up one of Kuz, Ingram, or Ball, and I'm hesitant to do that for an injured star.

Sorry brother. I’ll look to see where I got off track. Comic relief isn’t always welcome, but I apologize if I offended.

It might not change anything tbh, but I’ll still look at it from your perspective. I think we’re all hoping for good news soon. Shoot, even Shams and Woj are getting ripped in social media if they post anything not related to the perceived big free agents.

That’s pretty hilarious. But, in reality, it’s more timing related than anything about those guys. I’ll try to be more like Ox. Everyone likes him.

We're going to take on a bad contract for a future pick? If that's true then PG must not be coming and we're putting all of our eggs in the Kawhi/Lebron basket. I hope this is misinformation...

Obviously the narrative is going to be that we're desperate and under duress....but imho, I think the hording of picks via salary dumped into our cap is to spare trading our kids. The stars coming here, want to play with them...not be traded for them.

That also means that between PG and Bron, someone is waffling not to come here....and my money is on PG. This is why our attention is now on Kawhi cause if we trade for him, we have his rights next summer and can lock him in as the 2nd of our 2max plan.

    Here's Lowe's report...

Makes ya wonder if that report about us calling around for that extra 1st is legit. Multiple outlets said we offered BI and a 1st, but Tania knows her stuff. Starting to sound like the Spurs want that extra pick and are likely floating that story.

I Love, Love BI & Kuz, but if we can land Kawhi, LeBron & PG13, I'm holding onto Zo & Hart first & foremost..
Lonzo's style of play with those 3 would be deadly.

Also, with Lonzo's roaming Defensive style & the lock down style of Kawhi, LeBron & PG..
Just add a decent rim protector & no one is scoring on that squad.

I do not want to see Kuz or BI go, but if the trade off is those 3 All Stars together.. I do it without question.
