If Kawhi really wants to be here he should maintain his strong play that he will only sign with the Lakers. Don't let us getting into a bidding war for him.

That the lakers are still in means Boston isn't offering those coveted assets; else deal would be done.

He just looks so desperate to give all the leverage to the Spurs. I've honestly lost a lot of respect for the dude over the last week. Kawhi may not end up in LA, but at no point has it been us with the pressure. The Spurs are the team with their superstar saying he doesn't ever want to step in that locker room again. Woj has become a total joke.

I swear...these guys are driving me nuts.

How is it on US to get Kawhi? PG13 just opted out! All this talk of him "staying" and him opting out definitely opens the door more for him to come here than it does for him to stay....

We can go with the original plan here and get LeBron and PG13 and KEEP the kids...then we'll see what Spurs say after that happens because now, we will not have the need to be desperate and give up the farm.

Danny Ainge is a penny pincher when it comes to his asset. He won't give up anything valuable to the Spurs. Hence, the Spurs have to deal with us now.

I'm against a bidding war with the C Bags...they have three times as many assets as the Lakers. They can afford to overpay and still benefit from it.

The Lakers are not in a position to throw away what they have carefully built by tanking multiple seasons.

I certainly wouldn't overpay for Kawhi.

I have to agree. At this point, we just have to make a FINAL offer, take it or leave it. We ain't got time for this.

Injuries and his desire to be a Laker have crushed the market on Kawhi. The Lakers are in a position of strength, we have no reason to blow it up right now. The offers have been lukewarm at best, nonexistent at worst, or they wouldn't even entertain trading with us.

There's no pressure on us Woj. Go kick rocks while Shams does your job better than you.

Really don't care about Kawhi, he is a big question mark with that injury, and a spur system player, more often than not, not really successful on other teams. I can't gamble all our young stable for a lame horse
