Wrap it up folks. I don’t see how Kawhi could say no to this.

It makes me think that Kawhi is leaning towards signing with the Lakers. Why does his camp called the Lakers and ask a few questions and followed by asking them to wait? It looks unprofessional if they tell the Lakers to wait, give them hope but in the end He'll stay in Toronto.

@DUDE I like your optimism! The thing is, they've had a lot of detailed discussions with the Lakers days ago, and nothing has materialized yet. They're obviously deliberating carefully over their choices. At this point, who knows? It would help if I knew what questions they asked, but I don't unfortunately...

    Thanks!
Yeah I agree. Hoping they get to announce Kawhi's decision soon as tomorrow. I like our chances.
Keep up the good work as always!

@muddy7 Not necessarily, as I'm told the Raptors will be informed first. Doesn't mean much, however...

Green needs to forge his own path. He doesnt want his legacy to be that he couldnt lead a team without Kawhi. :D

The delay gives me confidence. Staying with Toronto would be the emotional decision. Coming to the Lakers would be the rational one. The further away he gets from his meeting with Toronto, the less emotional his decision will be. Of course who know, right? But I view the delay as a good sign.

I don't see him still being in Toronto meaning anything. I think the constant back and forth with the Lakers (allegedly) is what is tipping the scales towards the Lakers IMO.

To be fair, it's Kyrie. He probably told LeBron he was coming at one point.

I just don't see how this is a debate for him.

He WILL win titles here if he signs. He might in Toronto.

Say he signs with the Raptors long term and they rifle off 3 titles in 5 years. That's insanely unlikely to happen, but let's argue that as best case. What then? He has rings and HOF status, but he's a remembered as a Canadian basketball God.

Why not do it here and be the legendary Laker? That holds sooooo much more weight in terms of NBA legacy. Plus he can do it in his home country/state/city. It just seems that obvious.

He will only choose the Raptors based on not seeming weak by joining a Superteam IMO.

I don't think waiting is a slight against Green, where Kawhi goes directly effects the type of deal Green will get and from which team.

EDIT: quoted the wrong post, was meant for the guy who said Danny should forge his own path

Kuzma’s problem was never really offense although he kinda chucks at times.

His problem is horrendous defense and piss poor rebounding...

So a new Reddit rumor has arose huh? Supposedly Kawhi has met with the Lakers more than once. Despite rumors, tomorrow will be decision day. Bobby Marks pointed out that Kawhi would have to sign before the AD trade is completed on the 6th to be able to have the cap space needed to get all three together. We shall see what happens! Go lakers!
