    Something to think about after this free agent buzz dies down and NFL/NBA get back into their seasons....

    How much buzz is Kawhi going to have if he doesn’t win in Toronto as compared to LA?

    He can lose in Toronto and not get to the levels he wants in fame. He has to win titles and keep winning titles to get the pub he wants. That’s going to be hard and feeds into his load management stuff

    He can win or lose in LA and his brand will be global.

    I won’t be mad if he stays in Toronto, they did everything to keep him and did a great job. But this buzz will die down and LA/LA fans will focus on Lebron/AD and a large following will not worry about what Kawhi or New Balance is doing.

    At least right now... things change on a dime with fashion. If NB comes out with some cool shoes, people will buy them. I look at Under Armour and they weren’t anything regarding shoes. Steph Curry helped to change that. Plus, some of Curry’s shoes are nice looking. Don’t be surprised if the same thing happens with NB.

    These guys are idiots. Why would you sign with Detroit, when if you're patient, you could either sign with the Clippers or Lakers (whomever loses out on Kawhi) for probably more money? And possibly play with your twin brother. Makes no sense.
