    I noticed that too...

    In my opinion, Leonard wants LA. He wants the lifestyle, the weather, the ability to rest his body and not carry the load... But he hates having to crush a nation that loves him. I don't think he's taking his time for anything basketball related.

    The accusation comes from Mr Rambis. At first it sounded really weird to me but the more I look at how the Clippers are getting so much positive air time, there seems to be some truth to that.

    There was an old article about Woj and how he operates and gets information. It was underhanded. I could definitely see him being able to be bought either through Access or money. He included “human interest” type information on his tweets with Clipper signing but matter of fact kind of information on other teams signings. Woj seems to be biased against the Lakers but it’s more then that.

    Even if I take of my Laker glasses off, I think there is enough smoke out there to make you umm.

    There's also previous evidence of Woj pedaling in information. Joe Dumars with the Pistons was fined 500k for sharing insider NBA information with Woj. Woj at the time was touting the Pistons as a viable destination for LeBron James (the season he went to Miami I believe). So at best Woj was trading good publicity for Detroit for information from the NBA. Is it really so crazy to think that Woj might take cash for good publicity?

    And let's say he didn't take money, is it crazy to think he's campaigning for the Clippers just for insider information just like he did with Detroit? Because at this point it's completely indisputable that he's pulling for the Clippers. It's maybe disputable that he's pulling against the Lakers (although I think that also is obvious), but it's not disputable at all that he pulls for the Clippers.

    if that's the case, then he can have all of that while playing with two of the best players in the world

    OR he can have it while playing on a team no one likes surrounded by some decent talent and zero chance at winning a title

    tough choice huh

    Right, that whole long Reddit post a few days ago brought all this info back up. I’m sure it’s still pages back in this thread or the free agents/trade one, with links to the articles about the Pistons situation, Woj plays the game, he’s not some innocent reporter.

    Framework of the deal likely being worked on. This could also mean the framework for the business stuff, etc...

    That's what I got out of it. But again this is either going to be wonderful inside info this whole time or legit he needs to fear for his life because the city of LA will want him and others to pay for their crimes.

    I have no real reason not to trust him. He tweeted out weeks ago a hint Kawhi was coming, and that was before the media really got anywhere near it. Track record shows a history of getting LeBron related news early. It's better than waiting for Bucher or someone like that to guess on live TV.

    If your looking for a smoking gun, you’re not going to find. It’s my belief based on all I’ve seen that the press is promoting the Clippers on an unprecedented level. There was an article about Woj and Detroit back in one of the threads that was enlightening. Plus hiring the SI guy. So for me I’m convinced. You might need concrete evidence, which unfortunately is probably not going to happen.

    If we don’t hear anything today, I’m starting to lose hope.

    My current sense from all the smoke is that he’s indicated to us he’s on board but likely wants to announce it on his own terms after telling Toronto to their face out of respect.

    It’s been 3 days. If he hasn’t met with all 3 teams by now then his camp is just being ridiculous with how slowly they’re taking this process.

    If he has met with all 3 teams but still needs more time to decide, then he’s not as sure of a thing for us as the buzz is suggesting.
