    I’d be good with Cousins on a one year deal if no Kawhi, he worked well with AD before. This is the all-in year, probably LeBron’s last true great year, get the best players you possibly can.

    I wish we weren't the first team to talk with him. I thought Kawhi and his reps wanted to speak to Jeanie too. I hope that is still happening. I'd rather be the 2nd team out of 3 to speak with him. Clippers meeting and Raptors meeting that a lot of time to pass without Lakers in his head. I'm not concerned just wish we were in a better meeting position is all.

    I'm actually not understanding why Kawhi and Uncle Dennis would speak to Magic but not Jeanie?

    Does that mean LeBron hasn't even met Kawhi yet? UGH I NEED MORE INFO!

    I have a feeling the Kawhi did make his decision and the Lakers are doing everything to keep it under wraps the way the AD trade progressed, media kept out, show that no meetings happened, allow Kawhi to meet with everyone else before officially making his announcement.

    RDA probably jumped the gun after hearing the news downstream.

    He wanted to hear from Magic that there was no more turmoil between him and the Front Office and that he can trust Jeanie, Pelinka, and co.

    We’ve heard that Magic did his best to prop up the FO, so no worries there.

    I think it’s pretty obvious from the way the media is covering the Clippers that something is going on there, everything they do is spun in a positive light, but sure, it’s speculation. For what it’s worth Mr. Rambis also said that Balmer has paid some of the media for goood press. It’s not really a crazy concept, I believe a part owner in the Lakers owns the LA Times, I’m sure he likes good Lakers press. Also, the Clippers literally did pay a media member when they hired Lee Jenkins to be their Kawhi pitch man. I’ve read multiple places that he’s the guy spinning the Clippers story to all his fellow former media members.

    With Bron and AD here in place and the level of their combined talent .... Kawhi choosing the Clippers or even going back to Toronto IMO, would be a to Paul George, "Dude hold my beer" moment. Am glad no other reports as to whether KL's talked to Jeanie or anyone else yet besides Magic. Cause Mag (assumed) just put out there all the important things to Kawhi and what they talked about. You know like a strategic meeting for the Lakers. And he told the Clippers and Toronto all that good intel as well prior to their meetings with Leonard. But it's OK it's Magic that's what he does. Am still nervous.
