    Maybe he was wrong, but Cris Carter reported Kawhi was flying back to Toronto tonight to meet with the Raptors tomorrow.

    Is what I've heard all along as well in years past and is a huge, important thing for Lebron which is why I could eventually see him joining whatever team his son is on if and when he gets to the NBA as kind of a fair well tour.

    This is Chris McGee who works on the postgame for the Lakers and he openly tweeted about Kawhi.

    Lakers paid personnel aren't allowed to discuss about other teams players during free agency I believe (hence John Ireland on vacation on 710 as Steve Mason pointed out several times today during Mason/Ireland show). So if a Lakers paid employee is openly putting Kawhi's name out there...then I believe he's ours.

    I doubt this means anything more than Chris is literally just following Kawhi and hopes he chooses us. Knowing Chris and how he has been in years past with breaking news and not sending anything cryptic stuff out. This is just Chris being a fan.

    Lakers high confidence stems from the fact that they felt the primary holdup was centered around Kawhi's distrust of the front office and the rumored lack of professionalism in organizational operations and structure. At this point, their belief is those concerns, for the most part, have been quelled.

    Their belief is that regardless of any further communication and meetings between the Lakers and Kawhi, Kawhi will allow the Raptors to get the last word in before he makes his decision.
