    We didn’t have a chance a few years ago, this time we actually have a good shot at getting him, if you have a good shot you go all in regardless.

    He might remain in Toronto, but by us focusing solely on him it shows how much we want him to be honest.

    I would go for depth... Toronto wasn’t loaded with superstars, they had depth. Warriors were frontloaded with stars/money and no depth... one got hurt and their entire rotation suffered... I just don’t want it to happen to us... especially with our luck in regards to injuries

    Your posts the last 24 hours are going to make for good d00m when we sign Kawhi. Oh no, we missed out on overpaying Seth Curry, Patrick Beverly, and Taj Gibson to get Kawhi.

    I think you can relax on that one, we literally have zero assets to trade for Love unless they want Kuz and a 2028 first rounder. :D

    What exactly are we missing out on by waiting for Kawhi? I mean i sure as hell don't want to overpay on any of these FA that just received massive contracts. Thank You Kawhi from saving us from overpaying. I like players like Bogdanovich and DLo but a max for dlo? Forget that.

    What's the f***ing hold up? This "vetting process" by Kawhi and his team is getting ridiculous. Waiting to see, who said what and when. Who leaks info, who stays quiet. We're not building an atom bomb here, let's move the hell on.

    Again goes back to my original concerns... I like what NY did, they added a bunch of depth, on two year contracts, allowing maximum flexibility. We could’ve done the same with two superstars... I’m just worried about an injury occurring, and our lack of depth cripples is again

    It hasn’t even been 24 hours. :D But if this is a vetting process we are doing well because zero concerning the Lakers and Kawhi has leaked. The only stuff we’ve heard has to do with Magic, who isn’t a Lakers employee anymore. I tuned into Mason & Ireland for a minute too a bit ago and they asked him if he had any info on timing of a meeting with us and he said nope, none at all, so there’s more non-leaking on our part, we don’t even know if and when the Lakers are meeting with him.

    What?!?! The Knicks gave a bunch of money to role players, they’re going to be terrible this year again. They traded Porzingis away as a salary dump and have Randle, Gibson, Portis, Bullock and Payton to show for it. Congrats, they’re the Pelicans minus AD of the East. Depth doesn’t matter if you don’t have a single star, we had depth the last 2 seasons.
