I hope people realize by now that Ramona's twitter handle is Woj's burner account.

Now I remember why I always hated Perk. Could’ve sworn he’s been hinting towards us getting Kawhi the past few weeks and now this?

Well now that I think about it, he’s been implying we’d get a star in free agency. Damon Jones has been the one saying Kawhi. If Perk is saying he thinks Kawhi’s not coming here and Durant might be staying in Golden State, then maybe he’s been thinking we’ll get Kyrie?

Like I said, I always knew I loved Perk.

Don't remember his remarks much other than that we will get another player, maybe Kryie was his original source? He was teammates with both him and Bron, correct?

No idea who this guy is, but he’s saying some interesting stuff so I figure why not post it, the days are crawling by til free agency

This I just found funny, everyone at ESPN is playing this “why would Kawhi go there?!” angle, even non NBA guys

Maybe it’s Mr Rambis lol. Whoever it is, does verify some of the sneaker meeting talk that Mr. Rambis has mentioned.

Looks like I was not so crazy when i was arguing about how Marketing should be a focus. One of the things I used as an example was the shoe deal drama with Jordan but I was told I was crazy. Btw now people are speculating that the reason for Kawhi wanting to meet with Jeanie and Magic is because he wants to talk about the Marketing part of joining the Lakers then have another meeting with AD and Lebron to talk Basketball... Like I was telling you the issue we had with LMA was not the Marketing per say it was we didnt do enough research on who we was targeting and come up with a game plan for that player Sales 101.

This is as stupid and forgettable as his game was. These guys stick to the free agency guessing game like their life depends on it. And of course they are usually wrong, until they pretend they were right all along.

Man, f*** this guy. Look how his face lights up when he talks about the Clippers. “Why would Kawhi want to be the 3rd wheel on the Lakers?” turns into “KD and Kawhi on the Clippers, imagine that star power in Staples?”. WTF??? Is this real life? Star power, freaking playing for the LAKERS with LeBron James and Anthony Davis is star power, we don’t even know if KD is ever going to be the same player. Hope he is obviously, but we don’t know, that’s a horrible injury at his age, and he won’t even be back until at LEAST the season after this one. Man I used to be indifferent to Woj, now I hate his stupid face

Not sure this is directed to me but the video talks about a shoe meeting that happened 4 weeks ago with Kawhi people. I’m sure everyone in his group included Kawhi been made very aware of what kind of marketing opportunities and income potential that the LA Lakers bring. He very well may want to meet with Jeanie and Magic, just to verify with his own eyes that the front office is not the sh@t show that ESPN is making them out to be.

I’m with you Weezy. I want to watch Wojnarowski videos to see what stupid stuff he says but I’m finding it harder
and harder to look at his smug face.

    Learned a few things:

-Magic was asked to be involved because Kawhi and his camp want to assess the instability in the Lakers FO for themselves. As I mentioned before, they've brought up this concern in the past and they want to ensure that there's no disorganization that will jeopardize Kawhi's career and legacy.

-AEG/LA Business Folks/Others are working on arranging a separate meeting to discuss that side of the deal. It is unclear whether Kawhi will be present for those discussions. This is probably of secondary importance to the main meeting, however.

-LeBron and Kobe have both spoken to Kawhi. I am unsure if Anthony Davis has played a role, if any.

-Clippers are still internally considered a threat. But the media via Ballmer has overblown it, to some degree. However Lakers are focusing more on the Raptors as the primary threat, here.

-Jeanie/Magic plan to focus on big picture and basketball vision in their meeting.

    Best,
    Mr. Rambis
