    I would say we just gotta roll with the punches. It’s part of being a Laker fan to get all the hate and attention of being a consistently successful franchise. Not many teams can compete with our legacy.

    We just landed LeBron and AD just like that which would take most franchises decades to put together or rebuild from the brink of rock bottom. We’re back and everyone is scared.

    Possibly but if he knew that was the market don't you think he would opt out to grab that coin? Last major contract at 34 years old? Just thinking aloud...

    Probably. I would think he hopes to take the big money one more year and collect again next summer. He can probably get 2/20 at least next summer if he's healthy so it's a good gamble.

    Best thing to do is what we are doing, beat the hell out of them in FA as we have the past couple years. Maybe during our Kawhi interview make him aware of the tactics the Clips used. He seems to be a guy that is very anti-drama so if he can be made to see that the Clips have turned into TMZ while the Lakers have been keeping their mouths shut and being the class act in this situation, and just taking crap (and not just a little from our own fans) it could work in our favor. Especially if Rob clears the 32mil because it turns all the recent negative talk into nonsense. I don't think Kawhi would be impressed at us launching an anti-Clipper campaign. The truth comes out, show him the facts and he can decide if he wants to play for those type of people.

    Someone should show him a photo of the Clips giant selfies 3 years ago juxtaposed against the Lakers' giant jerseys of retired numbers hanging in the rafters. I just checked and LMAO the Clips have never retired one single jersey EVER.
