I have a friend who works very closely to a Clippers executive (someone in every board meeting with Ballmer).

They said that Kawhi is definitely still a possibility and will get a meeting with him at the very least.

I'm hopeful he will also meet with the Lakers but from what I've heard through the media, it sounds like clippers or raptors for him.

Why do we keep seeing Kendrick Perkins on every show? He just says the same horse crap the next person just said or what's been said by every other person that has a useless, unbacked opinion.

If we get an AD then it won’t bother me as much if we don’t get him. BUT, I would prefer Kawhi over any free agent. I like the fact that he is from here and I like his style and approach to the game.

Come on Kawhi, just walk through Staples Center doors and get this dynasty started.

I honestly don't get the clippers thing. He'd have to know a second fax FA slot would open up for a 2nd max FA to want to fill. Who could that be with KD and Klay out and Kyrie likely going to NY or BK? Butler, vuc or Kemba I guess? That team aint winning ish!

im offering klay the max if kawahi goes lac and we get ad especially if we can keep bi, dont want crazy a** butler or Irving. we can wait on klay if mgmt can sign right players and bi grows into the player we expect him to be, bi/ad/james is enough for time being n seeing klay toughness would surprise me he would be back by playoffs from that acl, its less worse than kd Achilles

If we are keeping BI, we already potentially have our second star for post-Lebron. I'd use the cap space to offer Collison and Vucevic contracts. They would both fit nicely next to the Lebron/BI/AD trio. Vucevic is only 28 and his defensive issues would be erased playing next to AD with Ingram and Lebron patrolling the wings. Collison is a great veteran presence and is from LA...well...Rancho Cucamonga. He shot 40% from deep this season.

We are having the same argument in two different threads. :D

I don't think anyone will give him the max. If someone wants to, that's fine. We move on to someone else. But if he ends up taking 20 or 22 million, we should be willing to pay him that much. I'm not willing to throw out several seasons of great play at the center spot because he had a bad series.

Yes I do. They already owed it to Klay, then he blew his ACL for them and now they really owe it to him.

Durant may not take it, but we'll see.

They're moving to their new arena, and it's going to generate $$$.

The Warriors will be printing money. And even if they weren't they have deep enough pockets to operate at a slight loss for a few seasons if it means having a title team. And once we trade for AD and keep Ingram, and sign a couple more quality players long term, they will need all four of those guys to compete with us.

Rings bring $$$$$$; and the revenue projections their bringing him from Chase are huge; they'll max Klay and KD, IMO. Now? Does KD take it? That's another story...
