Also that’s Tina Louise who played Ginger, not Ginger Rogers the actress from mainly 1930’s films. RonStu needs to study up a little better, but I’ll let it slide seeing how he’s only an 18 year old kid on the mean streets of LA.

Unfortunately, I don't see Kawhi coming here anymore.

But somehow, the Clippers are favored to land him. I do not see him jumping to that team after the Raptors clawed (pun intended) their way to the finals...

Yeah, I see the odds for kawhi as follows: clippers, raptors, knicks, warriors, then lakers are showing 5th likely.... ughhh sickening. clippers? really? i guess we'll take kyrie then. unless he teams with durant... then who else would really consider us....?! cannot wait until FA begins.

I fail to see how the Knicks are a more attractive destination than us when they’ve been a dumpster fire for at least 19 years and we’ve only been so for 5 or so? James Dolan has a proven 2 decades of being an incompetent, meddling, jacka**. Jeanie has like 3 years of being in control and causing doubts.

The Lakers sign one of the top free agents this summer, maybe trade for a 3rd star, the winning starts and the rest of the noise goes away. Dolan didn’t bring a playoff season to NY from 2001 to 2012, and hasn’t again since then. They only had one WINNING season in that time too, 42-40 in ‘11. Jeanie has been in total control of this ship for 2 1/3 or so seasons. I don’t feel personally that she is right for this, but that doesn’t matter if players still come here, in the end all that matters is winning. The Lakers still have LeBron, young talent, the 4th pick and a max slot. The Knicks have max slots, ok young talent, the 3rd pick, and odds.. So no, the ship hasn’t sunk yet, it’s just leaking everywhere very badly, she still has time and more goodwill than friggin James Dolan as far as I’m concerned.

People said that about Tiger winning another major title too..

I don’t have faith in Jeanie, but I do have a little faith in LeBron’s begging skills, maybe Kobe’s recruiting skills with Kyrie, Kyrie’s arrogance and possibly seeing that he could be loved if he wins in LA, because as I joked in another thread, Lakers fans have rooted for a ballhog, inefficient chucker as their star before. ;) I’ve got a little faith in uncle Dennis too.

The league would freak out, teams would revolt, Dan Gilbert and Danny Ainge might literally not survive, Popovich would retire, a handful of small market teams would probably just fold and be retracted. I could never see it happening though, Kawhi seems doesn’t seem like that kind of weak player, to join an already title team, he seems entirely capable and really to enjoy taking his own team to greater heights. And yes that’s a shot at Durant, what he did made “The Decision” look like nothing in comparison. The only reason I don’t hate on him more is because what he did also stopped one of the greatest evils the NBA has ever known, the unholy alliance of ‘Antoni, Harden, and Paul on the Rockets, from winning a title to this point.
