You can’t seriously have Utah ranked ahead of us as a desirable FA destination, right? I’m reading this wrong, correct? When was the last time a top FA willingly went to Utah? The entire city of LA could literally be on fire, burn to the ground, and a star FA would still come here over Utah and be like “eh, f*** it they’ll put some buildings and s*** back up pretty quick, at least it ain’t Utah”.

So, can we just let the only adults in our organization in Bron & Vogel go on a FA recruiting blitz?

I'll volunteer to keep Jeanie, the Rambii, & Rob distracted for the next 2 months the best way I know how...

Unless I'm having a brainfart (very possible since my 9-month old had me up at 5 AM), I don't remember the last time ANY of the 5 teams he listed signed a marquee FA...like, not one time ever. Am I missing a FA coup from the Clips, Pacers, Nets, Mavs, or Jazz?

I think the highest level of FA success from those 5 teams was the Mavs agreeing to sign DeAndre Jordan for a few hours before the Clips staged a hostage situation to force him to re-sign there for more money.

Indy, Dallas, Utah have no shot against us, tire fire or not. But lac and bkn could jump us easy.

Mavericks did have DeAndre Jordan for about 5 minutes until he got kidnapped and abandoned a couple years later. Poor kid.

Those teams have never been free agent hot spots.

This is how many times the Clippers were going to finally take over? tenth? Twentieth? Fiftieth?

I’ll believe it when I see it.

Yep Agree there. The FO instability is alarming to any prospective FA, though, IMO.

If I am Jeanie, I am calling Kobe to be in those rooms .

Something like: Jeanie, Kobe, Tim, Rob, LeBron, and Frank. Keep it simple. We NEED to land one of these guys.

Yeah. Instability isn’t good but I don’t buy the hype on these other teams.

Get the adults in the room along with whatever tampering LeBron is currently doing and I like our odds.

If we strike out on KD or Kawhi, I actually wouldn’t hate a Jimmy Butler signing over Kyrie or Kemba.

The fit is just better for this team because we have a hole at shooting guard, and Jimmy is still a all nba 3rd team level shooting guard (although he didn’t make it this season, him and Klay are still capable to play at that level).

Lonzo and Jimmy would be the best defensive backcourt in the league

Y'all need a dose of reality around here. Stop blowing smoke up each others skirts by fantasizing about trades/ signings and line ups that will never be.

Jerry West is long gone, the stars have retired, our rent-a-star is one age related injury away from mediocrity, the FO sucks, the owner sucks, the rest of the roster is decent but nothing special. But hey, let's pretend that past history, sunshine and stars sitting court side are enough to delude a star to sign here.

The first step toward fixing a problem is acknowledging that it exists.

And yeah, I've been a fan before most of the rest of you were even in diapers. No troll, just a tough love type.

Now carry on with your fantasy posts ....

Haha, I like your style Prozac, but I believe one of the side effects to Viagra is acute vision impairment.

So let me explain the following tweet for you just in case. Woj, a teen growing up in the New England area at the time of the Cbag-Laker rivalry of the 80shaving a legit bias against Magic/Lakers, reported this after Bron committed to us.

Now I understand s been a long year, that the FO is a mess and the magic may be gone, but LeGM is really the only recruiter we need imo.

Btw any Laker fan trying to big up the cLips, has me gassed up (yet another side effect to Viagra). Be forewarned haha.

If OKC is the downside of going all in to trade for a star and going for it now, Toronto is proving to be the justification for it. Kawhi has this perennial loser one win away from the Finals. Stars matter this much, has me starting to not really care if we ship out our entire young core for an AD if it means we get back into a place like this again.
